This espresso has a lighter, smoother taste than the darker, more bitter beans. I would definitely order this product again.

Great taste. Seemed very fresh. I would really like to see a "roasted on date" somewhere.Bought a 2nd one when the description said, "hurry, only 3 left". This apparently means that batch was fresh roasted when I bought one, not so much on the 2nd which apparently sat for months waiting for someone to buy it. I should have known better.

I’m a 2 cup coffee drinker and it must be 100% Arabica. I saw a commercial on tv about Nicaraguan coffee. With the help of Amazon reviews, I was able to find the right Nicaraguan Bean to try. I love my morning Jo. Try this, it’s delightful in taste.

If you plan to try brewing espresso with this roast, you may want to look elsewhere. These beans arrived stale, and the bag was leaking air. There was no roast date anywhere. I had a very difficult time pulling a good shot using these beans. Price would be fair for most other specialty coffee but there is no indication on the Candy Tiger website or on this listing where they source their beans, nor any indication that the coffee is truly shade-grown despite the product being tagged as such.Good for drip and pourover, even on the higher quality side for those methods.

This coffee is very bitter and very acidic. If you looking for a smooth tasting coffee that’s low acidity, this isn’t it!UPDATE:Though I didn’t love the coffee the company reached out to me. I have to give them 10 out 10 stars for their customer service! You don’t see the desire of customer satisfaction they showed from companies very often these days! I wish I liked the coffee I really want to give them my business! Maybe I’ll try a different blend.

I grew up on dark roasts and wanted to try something new. I’ve brewed these a few different ways now. Brewed hot in a v60, switch, or aeropress its pretty good with or without milk, somewhat bitter and somewhat fruity but it felt like it was missing something.Then I tried making iced coffee out of it and it was fantastic. It really felt like I had a really good coffee shop iced latte in my hands.
