This is the third version of collagen chews I've bought from Pawstruck. When we first brought our Aussiedor home, I bought the small collagen knots (but didn't give her any until after 3 months). I also picked up the collagen springs (for when she's a bit bigger). I recently purchased these. They are even longer than I expected. She's right around 25 pounds currently, and can spend an hour chewing on one of these and not even get close to halfway through. One stick lasts her about 3-4 days. I love that they are good for her joints and that they don't smell! She likes the bully sticks as well, but those are very strong smelling for me and a bit more messy.

My dog freaking loves these!! Since I brought my Australian shepherd home 9 months ago he’s changed my life for the better. But he needs lots of things to do. He’s only wanted the bullet sticks that cost so much. I saw these and said ok let’s try them. Not only does my beautiful boy love them but they last a long time. And the cost is less expensive than the bully sticks. He has no trouble chewing these and I’m not worried when the bone gets smaller near the end because it breaks up or separates into smaller bits he can chew. There is no smell and a just an iddy biddy tiny mess left other. Sometimes there is no mess. It does not leave a residue behind either so nothing to worry about there. We both loves these one for the price and two knowing this is highly digestible, lasts a long time, no smell, no mess and keeps my dog busy for 45 minutes or longer.

My dog loves these collagen sticks. These collagen sticks will keep her occupied for a long time as well as distracted when she would otherwise reactively bark. These collagen chews last way longer than tendons. My dog is able to chew them safely without them breaking into pieces or causing teeth/gum injury. The part that she chews overtime, turns soft and mushyI ordered a bag of five and did not initially inspect all of them until I got down to the last three. As you can see in the picture, number 4 and 5 look different from number 3. The first two that I gave to my dog looked like stick number 3. The color variation wasn’t concerning as the listing description states that color variations are normal. What was concerning was that I noticed black spots on stick number 4 and 5. It’s really evident on number 4 as seen in the picture. Number 5 had tiny black spots speckled throughout. I’m not sure if it was mold, but my gut told me not to take a chance so I threw number four and five away. I read other reviews where people have come across the same issue. I am hesitant to order another bag as these are a little bit pricey and I don’t want to come across the same issue again. Other than the quality control issue these are an excellent product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My dog loves them and they last a long time.

This product left very sharp bits. I feel it could easily lodge in a dogs gums or between teeth. I could cut my skin.

I have these on a subscription and my dogs go crazy for these. I have three puppies, one is two, the others are under two years and they are still teething and have the urge to chew like crazy.

Mostly a good product, but I have found that some of the sticks splinter terribly. Not good for the pups. I will continue to buy them.
