The product is as advertised.
worked great right out of the box. Easy to set up and mount. The sensor is a long ways from the base station and reception is still great.

Love it! Seems to be the only brand that works for me.
I’ve been through a couple of weather station brands and this one stays connected the longest. In fact, I’ve only had to connect it once and 6 months later, no issues. Lightning detect is a nice touch.

Accurate rain gauge, good value unit.
I am a volunteer precipitation monitor for CoCoRAHS, and therefore I own an official, NOAA-certified rain gauge. Naturally, after buying this unit, and performing the specified calibration, I was interested to see how accurate the rain gauge was. It has been within 0.01" of my official reading every time—rain, not snow, which is outside its realm. That's the minimal detectable limit of the official gauge, so that's excellent accuracy. Its temperature and humidity readings, who knows? Never have I found two thermometers that agree! I have no way of validating its wind speed readings, but they are in total harmony with the NWS values. One great feature: the unit spends its first 2 weeks calibrating your altitude, which is essential to the barometric readings; and that, in turn, is essential for the forecasts it provides. I have to say, its forecast is as good as the NWS, for what it's worth! 😏 It's an excellent value for the money. I have certain complaints about the display, but it provides all the information I wanted. (I live in a very windy area, and was HIGHLY interested in the anemometer.) Worth buying, if you want an affordable weather station.

Great weather station
My husband loves this weather station. It took some time to install it but once it was up and going, it’s been great! The display inside is a great size and looks good. It can be either mounted or sit on a shelf or on a counter. I like that the display can be dimmed or brightened based on your preference. All in all, it’s good quality, reliable, and convenient to check the outside weather.

This beat all expectations...
It was simple to install and link up to the base station. I was skeptical about the lightning detector till we received our last system of storms. We had over 100 strikes in the area. This was on par with the local weather radar. The screen is vibrant and easy to read. After this one, it will be hard to go back to any other temp/weather gauge. We are purchasing one for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day.

Wanted one for SOOOO long!
Well as you can see in the photo it's got a beautiful display that's hanging on my wall in my kitchen. It's easy to see as long as it's at eye level. Or on the counter. I had it a little too high at one point and I couldn't see anything. So make sure that you're paying attention to where you place it. The outdoor pieces are a good bit away, the connection is no problem. The rain gauge with wind 'thingy' LOL are attached to a PVC pipe and raised on the front of my outbuilding on my land. The temperature gauge with the lightning detection is on my screened in porch. So far? I love this thing. The only thing I have yet to find is where I can change the time from regular time to 24 hour clock... I mean surely it's got to be here somewhere and I just haven't found it. As for accuracy? I only have my phone app to compare it to and it is darn close. My phone app tells what the temperature is downtown, which is a few miles from me. That's one of the reasons I wanted this. Because it's not accurate to where I am. I live in the mountains so I wanted to know what it was outside my house, not downtown. But overall? I am very happy with this

Real junk.
Update: This thing is a real piece if junk. After two months, and after my return period to Amazon has expired, the display unit failed completely.I was finally able to get it to come back to life by unplugging the power and removing the backup batteries to completely reset it, but then I had to completely reprogram the settings again and lost all of the previous history. I guess I'll have that to look forward to every so often, if I don't just throw the thing in the trash one of these days. DON'T EVEN BOTHER with this piece of junk. What a waste of money!Yet another Update: The reason for the reset is the thing is EXTREMELY sensitive to any electrical noise. Just turning on a light switch or plugging something into the same socket as the wall wart will lock the thing up. To reset it, you have to unplug the wall wart and pull one of each of the two battery sets, then go through the entire tedious setup process again.Initial Review:The user interface is baffling and times out so fast you don't have time to follow the step by step instructions for setting anything up properly. You have to know ahead of time what you need to set, and the procedure for doing so, or else you'll find yourself lost in a maze of options and then the damn thing times out and goes back to display mode. The only good thing about it so far is the temperature and wind speed/direction seem to work okay. The humidity sensor reads way too high all the time and tells me its raining almost all the time. As hard as I've tried to calibrate the barometer it just won't let me. The lightning sensor is extremely sensitive to electrical glitches from simply turning on a light switch. Also, the damn thing requires 14 (yes FOURTEEN) batteries to work properly! 4 for the sensor unit, 4 for the lightning detector, and 6 for the base unit. I tried using the base unit without the "optional" backup batteries and it wouldn't connect to anything. After installing them it worked just fine. What a waste of batteries!Followup: I bought this for my ham radio room and found it's not at all FCC Part 97 compliant. Even at the lowest QRP levels the monitor unit freaks out. I've moved it to my living room at the other end of my house now but that's really inconvenient and not what I bought it for.
