Works as expected. It's very convenient if you're the type to take off the strap before returning the guitar to the case.

I prefer using this over a strap button on the heel of the guitar. Its way more comfortable and it looks better in my opinion. I think Jack johnson uses the clip too

Quick connect strap.

Fit nicely as a replacement for my 12 string guitar strap's original shoestring! Much stronger, has a quick detach to make removal easier, or to quick change straps for those with more than one.

My Blueridge BR40T came with only one strap button, so to use my pretty butterfly Perri's strap, I had to tie it onto the head above the nut. I tried a nylon shoestring type string, but it flipped around and would get into my way. The top of thr strap was close to the neck and it interfered with chord formation, ultimately it wasn't an optimal solution.A friend mentioned that she used this attachment so I decided to try it. When it arrived, I was a bit concerned that it was going to be too long and not work. I have the lacing part of my strap on the smallest adjustment. Thankfully i had one buttonhole adjustment left and moving to that one shortened the strap the extra inches gained by this tie.Now my strap seems positioned where i need it vs. flopping around and my left hand has plenty of clearance no matter what chord im trying to make.If you need to tie on your strap and you have room to adjust your strap shorter, this is an excellent accessory.I give 4 out of 5 because the quick release clasp is difficult to pinch and open. I need to use two hands. While this makes it feel very secure, it defeats the purpose of a quick release.
