Protects our bread from our food-obsessed cat
This is our second try at a bread box, after we adopted a cat who is extremely food motivated. The earlier attempt (a bamboo number with two sections and opening panels on front) failed when our cat managed to open the upper section and steal 2 dinner buns (which he promptly devoured, tore up the bag, and then suffered from an upset digestion -- he was not sorry). So far, this unit has managed to deter all attempts from our cat to access the bread, which is why I gave it five stars. (Also, it's of reasonable size, looks decent on the counter, and is easy to clean if needed. Though it does get a few raised eyebrows from guests due to it being galvanized steel.)

Excellent product!
Large so holds larger homemade loafs. Keeps it fresh even when cut. No need to wrap bread up. Lots of room. Love it.
