Caykur Altinbas Black Tea Series (Early Grey 40 Teapot Bag)

Love it!! Brews a beautiful cup of tea. I'm on my third order of it.

This stuff is fantastic. Discovered it at my local Persian store. It smells like toasty alfalfa. Flavor is unlike your typical black tea from India/Sri Lanka. Nice focus with a mellow, toasted--or even sundried--warmth. Highly recommend.

Went to Turkey earlier this year and wanted to have some black tea when we got home. This is exactly the same as we had in Turkey, really nice stuff

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  First, I was a bit disappointed that 1hp tsp is not enough for 1 mug (250ml), teas is very weak.Second, to make 1 pot of tea, you need to put 3tabls. If I would use tea from Turkeybor my country Uzbekistan then 3tabls spoon would be way too strong for 1 pot.Also, it taste a bit smoke and dusty. I m from Uzbekistan and we love black tea same a Turkish people. But this tea is not even close to what I normally drink. Assam loose tea from Ocado or other food store is very close to Turkish tea.When I make this tea this morning, my daughter (8y.o) said “ Mummy, why it's a little bit smelly? It's not like normal tea we drink”I am disappointed, it's nice packaging and good amount but not good tea itself.

I'm on my third can of this Turkish tea and I really like it. It's a robust, authentic tea that reminds me of the tea that I've had during my trips to Turkey and the middle east area.

I have bought Caykur products before and they are normally quite good, specially the yellow pack. However this particular pack (Black) does not have the authentic Turkish flavour and taste, even when brewed properly. Disappointed.
