it works! sometimes
Not an exact replacement but works great. I was hesitant after reading some reviews but I replaced my BN59-01220A remote with this to use with a Samsung UN60JS8000F TV. I Had to try a few of the USB inputs for the receiver before it connected. Works fine-controls the apps well, a little bit of a lag at times but overall im happyupdate-it randomly disconnects and is a pain in the a to reconnect-going to buy a new TV. forget this remote

Only some of the buttons worked with my 2016 65" curved Samsung TV
Looks (almost) like a Samsung BN59-1220E but only some of the keys worked for me. Source worked but menu did not. Requires plugging a USB dongle into the TV to get even that far. Discovered Samsung makes a newer model BN59-01181N remote to replace the 1220E that really is compatible and doesn't require a dongle. Press a key on the genuine Samsung remote to pair it and suddenly everything works. (It's also better looking than in the pictures online.) Buy the genuine Samsung remote, not this one.

Nice remote but not enough buttons for me. Does have a mouse function though.
Good remote for the price and very snappy as far as the functions. Works well but I like a remote with more buttons.

Generic Samsung remote
Didn't like that I had to use a USB with it but it immediately paired with my Samsung curve tv. Samsung no longer makes the replacement remotes and this was my only option. I recommend also getting a cover for it since these remotes are in high demand and will be best to protect it now before those too run out.

No printing on the buttons
We reviewed our new remote and other than a couple of buttons doing different stuff than the original it woks ok. But none of the buttons came printed with what the buttons do so they are next to impossible to see. I contacted the seller and they said they knew about it but it’s the only one they had so they sold them anyway.

Problema en Comunicaciones
Al momento de instalarlo, aparentemente el TV guarda o mantiene la Configuracion del USB anterior. Es posible que la señal sea inconsistente. Luego de multiples intentos, lo reubique enel siguiente piuerto de USB y respondio mejor. Cuando vallas a utilizarlo oprime el boton de Mouse para iniciar comunicaciones.

Not that great
Tried to get as close to original remote as possible (dog chewed up the original). The laser doesn’t work well. A lot of aggravation trying to use this remote. Very expensive TV but can’t seem to get a decent replacement remote.
