Great idea
Bought for my partially sighted mother in law. Shes really happy with it. No more pressing buttons by mistake and waiting for someone to correct it for her. Easy to pair to the tv (Samsung)

Don’t give up
Bought this for my old mum whose sight is failing. I spoke to a guy who fitted mums tv aerial about remotes with big buttons he said they’re too complicated but I thought I’ve got to try something.Read the description of this and thought it sounded fairy simple, no code entering etc. When I started reading the instructions I thought there’s no way I’m going to be able to do this. Then I watched the video a couple of times, I’m quite technically minded but I need a dummies guide to everything.Works perfectly, I was worried that when I set it that would be it but you can change it. The guide was clear and when the penny dropped I realised how simple it was.You can’t programme every channel it’s just an up and down channel changer so if you want say 101 you have to press it 101 times. You can however preset the small button to your fave channel but I’m not sure if you can program it to a channel with double figures but mum only watches 5.Mum loves it she’s not afraid of changing the channels and pressing the wrong buttons anymore.

Good
The TabTime Big Button TV Remote Control is a great option for anyone who wants a simple and easy-to-use remote. With its large, clearly labeled buttons, it's perfect for those with limited dexterity or vision problems.Pros:Simple to Use: Large buttons with clear labels make navigating your TV a breeze.Easy Setup: Programs quickly using your existing remote in just a few minutes.Universal Compatibility: Works with most TVs and other IR devices (not for RF remotes).Great for Seniors: Ideal for anyone who finds traditional remotes difficult to use.Cons:Limited Buttons: Only offers basic functions like power, volume, channel changing, mute, and one customizable button.Requires Existing Remote for Setup: Needs your old remote to program the TabTime remote.Overall, the TabTime Big Button TV Remote Control is a solid choice for anyone looking for a user-friendly remote. It's easy to set up, works with a variety of devices, and is perfect for those who prefer a simple and straightforward remote control.

Easy to use
Easy to program and use. Good for an elderly relative ( to use not program !) . Might need to write clear directions on it with marker

Works ok.
I bought it for my 96 year old mum who has very poor manual dexterity now. It's a lot easier than the original complex TVremote. But the important power and mute buttons are very small. I should have noticed that, because it's obvious in the images. As a result, my mum still has trouble muting the sound or turning the TV off when she needs to. I'm now looking for a big-button remote that has all big buttons.

Good unit
Tricky to get to work because learning mode will only work in the dark. The instructions fail to mention that resulting in much frustration. Once in a dark room the programming worked well. Unit is a bit plasticky and looks quite cheap although the buttons are clear and better quality than the case itself. Wording on case needs to be clear as Alzheimer's sufferers need sharp contrast as their depth perception fails
