Still the best ear plugs for me over the past 15 years.
My boyfriend and I have been together for 15 years now. I have a 75% hearing loss in my right ear, probably caused by an ear infection during my childhood. I could not continually lay on my left side to block out the snoring of my beloved boyfriend. So, I began a search for an ear plug I could insert and sleep on comfortably so that I could get some shut eye, and my boyfriend could snore away. Because of my hearing loss, I only need to wear the one ear plug. The back of the box provides easy directions how to compress the plug to insert it into your ear canal. They are easy to clean with soap and water, but they are no longer as pliable and easy to compress, so I just grab a new plug. 1 plug might last me months. Every once in a while, I misplace or lose one. Sometimes, my ear canal gets itchy; I'll remove the plug in the middle of the night, and don't always reinsert it correctly because I'm sleepy. Also, my doodle snoops around for trouble, and if I haven't put my plug up on my dresser, he's been known to unfortunately find and swallow it. Anyway, those are the only few reasons I have needed to replace ear plugs over the years. Other than the itchiness once in a while, these Flents ear plugs have never caused any ear infections. I just have to keep my ears clean, right? In the past, I have purchased these Flents Foam Ear Plugs, 10 Pair with Case several times at a Big Box store that unfortunately, no longer sells them. The last time I bought a small box of these I paid $2.98 in 2019. Luckily, I found them on Amazon for the current price of $3.43 + tax. Yeah, time and prices increase. IMO, these are the best and most comfortable ear plugs for sleeping. I hear no snoring, birds chirping in the morning, doorbells, etc. I can wake up from sunlight, not sudden noises. I speak from 15 years of experience using these Flents Foam Ear Plugs and highly recommend them.

These Are The Goldilocks (Just Right) Of Ear Plugs For Me
I am a very experienced foam ear plug wearer for many years and know how to insert ear plugs properly for a good fit. I use them for studying, shooting (under my ear muffs), and sleeping. I have tried a variety of ear plugs--re-usable (hard and not comfortable for side sleeping), different foam densities (too hard or too soft to get a good seal), straight or bugle shaped (the straight go in too deeply, are difficult to remove [sometimes need tweezers], and don't seem to seal as well as the bugles), and always come back to the bugle-shaped beauties. These plugs are rather large by comparison to others and so the dampening and rolling process before inserting takes a bit longer rolling to get them small enough for inserting into my ear canals. So, I dampen them more. (I put them in my mouth to dampen, but you may want to do something different :). (A few people I know use a very light [very light] bit of light baby oil to dampen before rolling. I don't know whether that works or is safe, so I am just reporting and not recommending you try.) Then I reach over my head with my loose hand and pull the top of my ear up (grab where it would point if I were an elf) and out before inserting the rolled ear plug with my other hand. When most way inserted, I place my pointer finger on the top of the bugle and slightly press or just hold for about 15 seconds to allow the foam time to expand in my ear canal. A few have commented that these plugs are large and go too deep. I have found that they can, so over time, I have gotten used to how high toward the bugle I initially roll the plug before inserting in my ear. The bugle shape does a couple of things for me. 1. It may help a bit in the sealing process and 2. It makes the plug very easy to pinch and remove with fingers. These are seriously great disposable ear plugs--not too hard, not too soft, but just right. The best that I have found for noise reduction and comfort.

Good ear plugs
I’ve been using ear plugs for 10+ years now. While these are my favorite, they still have areas of improvement. They’re easy to put in the ear and do work when properly placed. I like the green coloring to find easier at night. I don’t know if they are easy to clean because I just toss them. They aren’t too durable. They reduce the noise quite well.My issue is every order seems to be different. Some are extra firm and effective at blocking noise for multiple wears and some batches are very flimsy and you need to toss them after one single wear
