BK-313-450-IAT 2" Hinged Clutch Brake (.450" Thick)

I've had this for several months, working as it should. I've seen a lot of people insist that should only use a 1 piece as these break often. Well, if you don't hit the clutch to the floor while moving, shouldn't be any issues! Piece of cake to install.

Dump truck work is tough on clutch and clutch brakes. Especially when being loaded by a belt and moving forward 30-40 foot stop and go. Usually need to replace a clutch brake once during the life of a clutch and this is just a little thicker than the original making it last longer. A long flat air chisel bit makes removing a worn brake painless then the split design makes installation just as easy.

I ordered this before knowing what size (thickness) my old one was. Worked great but due to operator error I pushed the clutch too far down before I was at a complete stop and because if the thickness it engaged sooner than expected and I broke it. Had to purchase a standard size.

I needed a 3/8",(0.375) but I received a 0.50I really needed one, but I needed the correct size.I just ordered it again, and got a 0.45Yes, I ordered it correctly, but someone kept picking the wrong ones.I sent them both back, and picked one up locally, for just a little more money.Same product, correct size. These are really made well, and will work & last a long time, if installed properly, and "Used" properly. The clutch brake cannot be engaged when you are rolling down the road, I don't care if you missed the gear and can't find another one, or not. The only time a clutch brake is used, is at (or from) a complete DEAD STOP.

Product seems solid, but I can’t test it really as this company has now shipped the wrong size(width) twice. Wtf
