A very helpful book

Very easy to understand! This book has step by step instructions on how to grow and use medicinal herbs. Also problems that might be encountered and how to resolve. I was pleasantly surprised, there were things that I didn’t know, and it was explained in such a way that made it interesting…not boring. Another thing I was surprised about is how a book on herbs held my interest throughout. Very well written. This is an honest review, but to let you know, I was given the electronic copy for free in exchange for a review. With that being said, I will be ordering the hard copy at my own cost to have it in my collection.

While this book is well written, it lacks a more in depth look at using herbs and also only includes the most "basic" of herbs avaliable. The pictures are cute, the layout is very fun and readable. I would recommend it to a new herbalist but wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

I got this book for free and have enjoyed it so much!It talks about the history of herbs, how to garden, to be mindful of herbs in nature, and talks specifically about certain herbs. It walks you through gardening, soils, zones.You’ll learn about a handful of herbs and what they’re good for.This is worth every penny if you are just beginning!

I love this book. It's perfect for beginners and even very informative for non-beginners. My favorite parts are the little icons on the herbs that tell if it's culinary, medicinal, etc; the recipes sprinkled throughout the book; and the wonderful illustrations. I fully believe it's definitely a must have for anyone interested in gardening, especially for those looking to grow medicinal plants.

I love how the book explains the basics and how easy it is to find every discussed topic when you go back for it. Clear instructions and great editing. A must have for the beginners.

Many books focus on one aspect. Like medicinal uses, others on gardening, and so on. This gives a little bit of everything so is a great resource for beginners.
