Good quality almond oil ...
Greenwood produce some very good quality essential oils and although this is not actually an essential oil it's a very good quality cold pressed pure almond oil which is excellent for the skin. This oil doesn't really have any fragrance to speak of except for a very slight nutty scent.Almond oil can be used as a skin moisturiser in its own right or essential oils can be added making the oil into a treatment oil. I like to use a small amount of almond oil into which I add a couple of drops of peppermint oil as a dry skin moisturiser for my feet, especially effective if a pair of cotton socks are worn after the oil is applied ... I do this just before bed and in the morning my feet feel lovely and soft.I also have a small amount of dry skin on just one of my knees (most peculiar) and I find this almond oil does a pretty good job at keeping this at bay. This is a good quality oil which is reflected by the price of ÂŁ8.98 for 30 mls, however only a little is needed at a time so it should last a while.I hope you found my review helpful.

Good for you skins and nails also as a base oil for aromatherapy
Almond oil has many uses such as a carrier or base oil, massage oil, or moisturiser. It has does not have much fragrance. My wife has used it in the distant past for moisturizing her hands and was therefore aware of it, she has also used essential oils in an aroma humidifier and diffuser. As she is struggling with dry skin on her hands and peeling nails, mainly due to the excessive hand washing we are all doing at the moment, she thought she would give it another try. She has been applying it twice a day, for over a week, and has found that her skin is now softer and more supple, and her nails are beginning to improve. The bottle comes with a plastic dripper, these normally allow you to regulate the amount of oil dispensed, one drop at a time. This one doesnât work even if she shakes it, she has to knock it against her hand for it to release the oil, which a little annoying. It is pure 100% Almond oil with no additional additives. It is a cold-pressed which retains more nutrients than refined oils.

Quality almond oil at a reasonable price...
I got the 30ml small bottle of concentrated almond oil. Itâs suitable to use on its own or you could blend in with something else; I use it with natural shea butter which is already good for softening the skin but with the almond oil added in, itâs even better for massaging into the skin for deep moisturisation, plus massage is great for detoxification and circulation. The fragrance is quite subtle, a bit sweet but not very almond-ey like marzipan or almond extract you use for baking.I do think the bottle would benefit from having a pipette dispenser as it makes it so much easier to use when you just want a few drops. As it stands theres no dispenser, you just have to pour out the oil.Overall I think this is a good oil; I like that it's all natural with nothing added so it's pure almond oil. The branding and packaging doesnât exactly scream âluxury productâ but I think the quality is there in the oil itself and itâs decent for the price.

A firm favourite
Cold pressed to ensure that the natural properties remain in the oil and with no artificial additives. There was always a tiny bottle of Almond oil used to soothe sore ears when I was growing up but this one doesn't come with a pipette. If like my family you are finding your nails and hands are suffering from all the sanitising this is an excellent moisturiser. One to three drops on the back of each hand will rub in without greasiness or fragrance or add a little to handcream. As a carrier oil Almond is perfect because it will not take away from the fragrance of the other oils you like to massage with.I believe this is very good value for the quality ( it comes with a money back guarantee) and I would have no problem in recommending. The only improvement would be an instruction guide on how much to use and perhaps a pipette.
