I could have done without the obnoxious black and white photograph on the back cover (doesn't fit in with the aesthetic of the rest of the book), but you can't have everything. The book is a hardback book with no dust jacket (front print and back photo are on the cover itself). Introductory essay and then for each artist a one-page analysis of a representative work on left with thumbnail photo of the artist and then a full-page print on the right of the representative work. Text is well-written and insightful. You get a lot of text and a lot of great-looking prints for such a relatively thin and inexpensive book. Definitely worth the money. I will be looking for the other books in this Taschen series.
