Exactly what I wanted and expected.

I got these watering globes because South Carolina heat doesn’t play around and honestly, they’ve been a lifesaver for my container plants. I tend to overthink watering schedules, especially when juggling work and parenting, so having something simple that helps regulate moisture made a big difference.The globes are surprisingly functional and beautiful. They look like little glass art pieces tucked into the soil, almost like garden jewelry. I have mine in a mix of herbs, coleus, and flowering containers, and they add just enough charm without looking tacky. They’d make a cute gift for plant lovers too.How they work:Once filled, they slowly release water into the soil as it dries out. I tested them by checking moisture levels over several days, and the release rate was consistent, not too fast, not too slow. I got about 2–3 days of steady hydration during 90°+ weather, which saved me from dragging the hose around constantly. The necks are slim enough for most pots, and I appreciated that they didn’t disturb my plant roots when inserted.One tip: make sure the soil is moist before inserting the globe, otherwise it drains too quickly. I use a chopstick to make a pilot hole first so the globe slides in cleanly without clogging.Why 4 stars instead of 5?One of the globes arrived with a small chip at the base. It still works, but I worry it may crack further with time. That said, the rest of the set was in perfect shape, and they feel sturdy, thicker glass than some others I’ve tried.Overall, these globes are a practical, pretty solution for plant parents who want a little less stress and a little more garden joy. I’ll be ordering another set for the front patio soon.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Half of these globes work and the other half don’t. The ones that work great are awesome but the mouth of the water globes vary so much from eachother that some the water just pours out of. I attached a photo of the difference in mouth sizes even though they’re from the same package. This was really frustrating, if they all would have been like the narrow ones this product would be great.

Just got these today! I ordered the "4 large, 4 small" pack. I have several photos you can see. All 8 came with their own little plastic "funnel" to help fill them; frankly, it was easier to just put my faucet on a low stream and fill them without the funnel, but appreciated the addition nonetheless!Some of the glass tubes are wider than others (that just comes natural with blown glass) so some were quicker to fill than others.They are absolutely beautiful! Real glass. The small are very small; put them in my small house plants, and the larger ones I put outside in a few larger plants that need a little extra love than my bi-daily watering.
