The glide on the product is not easy

Was curious to see if this kind of tool really would work for picking up pet hair embedded within the carpet pile. The short answer is a simple, yes it does. It picks up a surprising amount of cocker spaniel hair from a regularly vacuumed carpet and you just open the back and take the hair out to drop it in the bin.Because I just wanted to see how well a tool like this could work I knowingly went for a cheaper example. Do yourself a favour and don't do the same, pay a bit more and get a better one.As other reviewers have noted the back pops open just through normal use, though it is easy to rest your thumb over the catch to stop that.The bigger problem on my example is that the poor build quality means that one of the two wheels does not freely rotate and given that the use of this tool is to move it quickly backwards and forwards the stuck wheel made of cheap plastic is simply wearing down. Luckily it's such cheap plastic that it'll wear quicker than the carpet.But there is no way that the materials and build of this tool will last very long at all. I very much doubt it would last more than a couple of months of weekly use even if it had two working wheels.A perfect example of cheap but not good value.

Was really good at getting hair off my velvet sofas but clothes worked less well.

This is great for couches / cousins and pet beds. It's not great for clothes as it's quite big and awkward and pulley but excellent for larger strudier items

It’s very good at removing cat/dog hair from garments. I was very surprised at how good this actually is. So easy to remove the hard from this thing aswell

Bought this product for 8.00 pound and its useless. The lint rollers are better at picking up the hair

I thought this at first was going to be a roller you roll on one direction but was surprised when I oped the lid to see a velvet looking pad. Thd trick is, is not to roll in one direction but to move back and forth. Instead of you then removing the fluff off the pad it ingeniously collects the fur in like a back chamber which you empty over a bin by pushing a button on the handle. We have used this in clothes, carpet and the sofa as my dog only occasionally sheds fur when stressed ( alopecia) as she is actually a hypoallergenic dog usually and hardly sheds with the exception of bonfire night and new year's eve.
