This product was ordered from Amazon Resale, and took about 9 days to arrive. It arrived a day earlier than was specified on the order page. From the tracking, it shipped from somewhere in Europe. It arrived in used packaging but that's expected. After testing, it had about 187 hours of use along with around 1TB of writes and 2TB of reads, so not much at all really.Considering the price was reduced from £117 to £88, it was a pretty good deal for the 2TB model. Performance fully saturates my PCIe 3.0 system and it was already updated to the latest firmware so there were no problems with Windows 11 24H2 increased HMB and performance is fantastic. It seems to use less power than comparable drives, but also has no hardware encryption support.Installation was simple with both my external NVMe enclosure and laptop, and it runs quite a bit cooler and faster than my Kingston NV3 1TB drive. Very happy with it.

I built myself a new PC. I put the m.2 from my old PC into the new one (The new motherboard has a few m.2 slots, so this was easiest way to transfer all the data from old to new). Then I needed a new SSD for my old PC, because it was old but not ready to be written off. This fit the bill to a T. As an m.2 drive, it's easy to install, this brand is known to be of good quality, with decent transfer speed and performance. So adding this has extended the life of my old PC and it's still going strong. Maybe I should've gone for a bigger capacity, but this is fine for the needs of my old machine really.

This went in my new Ryzen 7 build and is very fast. Runs Window 11 with ease and boots almost instantly. Easy to install if you know what your doing

It is a great ssd, although windows has ruined it for new builders like me. They released an update god knows when and it breaks your computer with blue screens often.these blue screens areUnexpected store exceptionCritical process diedKeenan data impage errorSystem service exceptionTo fix these blue screens you can either download their software called wd dashboard, you can also use the more stable 23h2 *just a older version of windows 11* which I’m currently downloading. The heat levels have been fine and the boot time is around 15 seconds, I don’t have the option on in the power settings for it to go faster as it uses power when off. It was super easy to instal and I’ve already bought another for my second nvme slot.

These drives are good so far. Install easy look at manual for mother board or internet before you do it and top tip use latex gloves to stop static as static destroys so many things. But western digital always built good drives. People have asked me questions about will they work for play station yes if formatted to the console but WD actually make specific drive for playstation so personally I would use what is designed for pc only and drive designed for playstation because memory has timings and get it wrong and you will see your console go very slow or vice versa. PC is more versatile as bios gets updated for specific types more than a console. Hope that helps.
