Update:So I just bought my 2nd one, that should give you an idea... This is a great value to set up in the yard, leave it out through weather and sun, and let the kids play without having setup/takedown time and effort. This would not be a good goal to put up, take down, put up, etc. (at least compared to other more expensive goals, we have another for taking places). But it is sturdy and provides a larger goal for play in the back yard for an excellent value.So the new one came with velcro strips to attach the goal, which are all tearing fairly easily. I'm not going to mark my stars down for that, you can reattach where they tear, and they'll work until the sun rots them out and they'll need to be replaced anyways... I'm also not going to mark down stars for the reason I needed to replace my first one: kids LOVE to jump up and hang on the crossbar. This goal won't take that due to the nice big size. Tell your kids that if they jump up and grab the bar, you will do things to them that they won't like, and that their goal will bend and sag and eventually the metal will oxidize and break where the metal is stressed or fatigued or whatever. I considered the powder coated model that was quite a bit more expensive, but I think the value in this one made my decision for me, coupled with the fact that the first one lasted for years.IOriginal ReviewMuch better than the small hand-me-down soccer goal my boys were using.I can see their ball striking skills improving!Good value, everything great still after a few weeks of hard use. Bought two of these for the neighborhood children and they have been using them for almost two years! Easy to assemble! The 8 and 9 year olds were able to put them together quickly and easily. They put them away each day after playing and they play almost every day. The goals are small enough to carry and store, but plenty big for playing. They have held up through all of this and still look great! Money well spent.

I was skeptical because we already have a goal that wore down in one season but this one seems to be very sturdy and well-made. Our son who is 6 loves it and has been outside with it all day. It comes with practice comes which are helpful. Lightweight yet rugged. I recommend!

Good performance , easy to move around my yard! We have a lot of wind so great stability! Love appearance! My son love to practice with, it is motivating him a lot to play and practice!! Easy to assamble! Unfortunately, over the time iron faded! And things that help you keep together frame and wire mesh falling or fading apart!

I bought this because I needed a cheap, but really good goal for backyard play. Here are my thoughts on this goal..Packaging: The soccer goal comes in a box the size of about a guitar and weighs a good 37 pounds. Each steel bar is packaged in plastic bag and so do the stakes and the net.Set Up: First things first, this is definitely a TWO person assembly. I was stupid enough to try it myself, but I eventually needed assistance from my dad. It took me a good hour and a half to get it finished with net and Velcro strips. With two people you could assemble this faster than I did, around an hour or even less.Quality: The steel bars are great and the net is deemed "All Weather". I will post an update since some thunderstorms are imminent and I'll share how the net showed up to its expectations. I'm 15 and can kick hard but the goal stayed in place WITHOUT even putting on the stakes so I almost guarantee this will stay in place perfectly with the stakes put in. My dad also kicked it hard and it still stayed in place so that's another example. The net will stay in place with the Velcro strips they just have to be put strategically. I didn't follow the instruction with the strips and so far the net hasn't got out of place. Pretty good Velcro strips. The size of the goal is 12 x 6 x 5. It's a pretty good width but the height is kind of a setback if you're 6 feet or taller.Price: I payed $76 for this and in my opinion is a bargain! It's bigger than a 5 x 10 for around $50 and still ok compared the goals that go up to $150. It's not a bad goal for casual backyard play and training on your shots.Conclusion: In the end, this is a great goal and you will definitely get your moneys worth. I think it is best for ages 16-17 and under for casual play and all ages for shot training. If I experience any problems (not likely =P) I will be sure to update this review.UPDATE 5-26-15: After seven heavy thunderstorms and 1 TORNADO this thing is still looking almost like NEW. This is definitely a bargain and I heavily recommend this!

OMG!!! My daughter just started playing soccer this year for the middle school team and she wanted a goal/net so she could practice at home. I highly recommend this product. The bars are metal and very sturdy comes with stakes so you can keep it in place. The Net is also sturdy and very easy to put on. Very durable. My older boys also play with it and they’re a little more rough and it has held up to there roughness. It’s pretty big is size. But not huge either. Perfect for all ages.

A few'" smarts " are needed to put this together but now the whole neighbourhood is in my daughter's back yard. They were using pylons to mark the goal so this is a great improvement. I bought this as a proud gramma for my two grandchildren who play soccer all summer ( age 7 girl and 9 year old boy). They do not kick hard enough yet to knock it over and it is big enough that you can score from all angles. The goalie can stand up in front.
