Works for a 2001 gmc sierra
Used these to upgrade the factory speakers to Rockford 6.5 inch speakers, so the brackets fit the truck well enough the speakers didn’t fit in the brackets as easy the speaker basket was to big to fit in the bracket but I was able to trim the inside ring of the bracket till they accepted the speakers, install would probably been simple with the right sized speakers as the ones I had measured 6 3/4 inch

I ordered these for use in my 1998 Chevrolet Silverado K1500. The selector states that the part does not fit, even though it does, so they should work for any 88-98 C/K 1500/2500/3500, as well as Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon.I used these with some Pioneer 6 1/2" / 6 3/4" speakers. They fit the speakers perfectly.Because these are a universal part for a various amount of cars and trucks, I did have to cut off some extra tabs and clips to get it to clip into my truck's inner door panel. When they did click in, they fit snugly and held the speaker as expected.These did exactly what they were designed to do, and I would recommend them for a proper installation!

Great idea. Won't fit 6.5's.
Great idea but these will not fit the original 6.5" size. Center hole is only 5" in size. If you cut it to fit 6.5" there are no mounting tabs. Don't waste your money, screw them in. $20 Down the drain.

Kind of works….
So these look great and work on the doors but trying to put 6.5in speakers from ds18 in didn’t work at all. I was able to use them by tilting the speaker towards the rear of truck and securing speakers with only two screws. Maybe i don’t know what I’m doing but I did cut out the tabs it said to and still wouldn’t fit not even kind of so. The speaker wiring adapters worked great. And made it sooooo easy. As a kit, priced great and would work fantastic for 5.25 speakers.

Will fit a 6.5 inch speaker with easy modification
Installed in front doors of my 95 Chevy Tahoe. Definitely fit with new Cerwin Vega XED 650C separates. You will have to removed extra mounting tabs on the outside of these fitment rings to make work. Utilized old speakers as template and used a cut off wheel followed by a file. Took about 5-10 minutes each ring. The new speakers dropped right in without any modifications to the inside of these fitment rings. Mounting holes lined up great and everything fit behind the factory door panel.

Product listed to fit 5.25 or 6.5 speakers. Didn't fit my 6.5 Pyle audio PL613BK speakers.
