Cakes That Wow Cookbook: A Beginner's Guide to Baking and Decorating Spectacular Cakes

Bought this as part of a gift for my daughter who wants to get into baking & decorating. She loves it. Recipes & directions are clear. The pictures are great. She loves it.

I'm a beginner cake maker and was looking for a book to teach me how to bake and icing a cake. This book also includes recipes for different flavored cakes, and in the instructions it walks you through it all. It also includes a list of tools one would need to back and decorate. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I honestly like this book, it’s very beginning friendly from the tool that you’ll need to decorating, I got it for a while however never tried any to make any of it recipes because doesn’t seems too healthy (too much ultra processed sugar, syrup just in the cakes recipes alone), as a home cooker mom I’m looking more healthy options.

This is a great book for decorating cakes for people just starting out in the craft. The cake and frosting and fondant recipes are simple and easy to follow. With the beautiful illustrations of the different confections, a reader will be very confident to make those different cakes. I’m glad I made this purchase, and I look forward to trying several out.

A nice primer for beginning and intermediate bakers. I have gifted a number of copies to folks that love to create fancy confections in their kitchens, and it has been well received and appreciated.
