I had been purchasing the 8.8 ounce jar of Manuka Health Manuka Honey from my local grocer, using it as a face mask, a mask for psoriasis plaques on my body, and a couple spoons a day for general health. I use enough that I really needed to upgrade to the larger 1.1 pound jar, which my grocer does not carry.I found the Manuka Health store here on Amazon. I had questions about the 1.1 pound jar, and also wanted to confirm that the honey and the Amazon store were not counterfeit. I contacted Manuka Health Customer Service in New Zealand via email with my questions, they promptly responded and fully addressed my questions. I ordered the honey and it arrived in 1 day, exactly the same honey I've been purchasing from my local grocer.The Manuka Health Manuka Honey has been wonderful in helping calm/heal my psoriasis, dermatitis skin conditions, and allergies/arthritis inflammation. I highly recommend Manuka Health and their products.

Excellent product. Tastes great and seems to work to alleviate cold, flu and allergy symptoms. Little pricey but worth it.

In response to the person who is trying to make Manuka Health look like an imposter and Comvita the only effective Manuka. The main consideration in testing Manuka Honey for medical grade effectiveness is the active level of Methyglyoxal which is indicated by the +250 and is in fact accurate. It is a test for this chemical compound with plus or minus 5% margin of error. The MGO Certification is scientific and precise. It is explained as follows:MGO 100+ Manuka Honey means honey contains 100mg per kg of Methylglyoxal.MGO 250+ Manuka Honey - 250mg per kg.MGO 400+ Manuka Honey - 400mg per kgMy husband, myself, and the rest of my family have used the Manuka Health brand of honey to successfully treat Staph, strep, sinus infection, bronchitis, UTI and most recently I gave to my cousin's husband is an U.S. Marshall and was injured in a drug raid. I use this instead of sugar in my coffee. I like that it has anti inflammatory properties.

I began using this product because I suffer from stomach issues. Issues from heartburn, indigestion, hiccups, upset stomach and vomiting. This honey is known to help sooth and repair the lining of your stomach. Well I am no expert in this area but I thought I would give it a try because I hate taking medicine for my stomach issues. I must say after I stopped taking Ibuprofen and I put 1 teaspoon at night in my sleepytime tea, my stomach issues has completely gone away. The reason that I continue to drink this tea is because it has less sugar than regular honey plus the health results that I have gotten in the past. I highly recommend giving this honey a try. It is bitter at first but you will get use to the taste once after a couple of uses.

I like that it’s not too sweet. They dont add extra sugar. It has a pleasant taste and i dont feel like i am taking medicine. The 10-15 UMF is just right, from what I could gather.

OK. This stuff is not cheap. If you want cheap, buy the stuff in the little bear with the questionable provenance. Inferior honey from who knows where, quite possibly cut with syrup. Watch Rotten on Netflix. Then research this honey. Just depends on what you want to put into your body. Even within the Manuka honey spectrum, there is good and then there is better. This is better. Worth it to me.
