I have used quite a few of Joico’s products but never this. I always straightened my hair however recently I got the Wolf Cut for curly hair. I couldn’t wait to see how my hair would turn out using this but it was Joico so if nothing else I knew my hair would shine without any greasiness. I couldn’t believe how soft my hair was, no frizz and with just a little hand scrunching my hair had a gorgeous curl. I honestly had people asking if it was my curl lol. Some people may think it’s costly but in reality for the amount you use it isn’t expensive at all, my hair curly is about bra level and I use maybe a quarter size amount, it’s not sticky or gummy, it doesn’t leave your hair crunchy and I let it air dry while I do my makeup. Once my hair is dry I sort of fluff it a little and done! I get ready sooo much faster, my bf loves that part lol

I found Curl Confidence, in my search for a beloved product that I had used for years, but has been discontinued. (Iso Bouncy Creme). It is good replacement, and works well as a leave-in conditioner. It does not leave my hair quite as full- looking as what I was replacing, but it comes close. It is not at all greasy or stiff.

I have very curly hair and this, with my curling brush, are the perfect duo. It’s not stiff but still gives a great curl. I can tell you how many curling products I’ve tried, and this one is truly remarkable.

I love this for my curly hair! It works so well and smells pleasant! It keeps my curls soft, shiny & frizz free, I especially love it on my baby hairs because when I use this I hardly have to use hairspray, it’s so much more gentle thank hair spray too so that’s a win!

So I’ve always had VERY fine semi-wavy hair & struggled w volume - especially as I got older, menopause helped it to thin a bit too. Hair/skin/nail supplement def helped but due to massive hormonal changes, I went from 2A waves all over to 3C coils & 2Cwaves in the back. Talk about a texture change! I realized that styling curly hair is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from styling the fine slightly wavy hair that I had my whole life - no matter what products or curly regimens I followed, it still lacked the volume that I like — ESPECIALLY if I’m going to be rocking these beautiful coils!!I want thru SO MANY different HAIR PRODUCTS in search of the PERFECT combination. I need defined curls & volume without frizz. Haha good luck w/that! But I began using this Joico gel in conjunction with Kenra’s curl glaze mousse. But 1st, I used Aveda advanced curl primer in the shower (a few squirts on soaking wet hair & squish. Once I was out of the shower I’d barely blot my hair & I’d use a spinch of Ouai frizz cream. But the magic occurred bcz of the combination of this Joico gel w/Kenra curl glaze mousse & I’d let my hair air dry about 70% & diffuse the rest OR I’d simply air dry & style the next day.Admittedly, on wash day my hair is pretty boring but 2nd day hair?? Chefs kiss! Volume up the wazoo!!Id keep the curl cast in all night & in the morning I’d steam my hair (w/a clothing or facial steamer) til it was slightly damp & that’s when the gel cast would morphe from crunchy curl cast into these chunky voluminous defined coils! I’d end up with volume out the wazoo!!! It’s def the joico thats responsible for the tons of volume!My wash day hair is boring but important bcz I need to style my wet curls just right. It’s the curl cast that’s going to set the style of my curls & lock them in & it’s the steam & diffusing that breaks the curl cast the joico created. Steam made the cast disappear - turned my crunchy curls into beautiful island coils that lasts for 2-3 days!!!I love Joico Products ❤️🩷💜💙💜🩷❤️

I have been using this product for three or four years now as I do have thick wavy curly hair that can sometimes just frizz up after it dries. After applying this on my hair, my curls or more softer smoother and not frizzy you can definitely see the difference as it really brings out the curls in a soft manageable way I love this product and will continue to use it. You can’t go wrong. It will bring out the definition of your curls and no frizz.

Super sticky and doesn’t help with frizz.
