It came on time and worked perfectly.
It was ready for installation. The cable has two fuse connections on each end of the cable. I used both fuses (all of which were provided) on the cable end connecting to the auxiliary relay for both the fuel pump and auxiliary ports to work simultaneously. The other end that plugs into the old pump relay fuse location, I needed to determine which fuse location on the cable went to the other end of the cable so that I could remove the fuse that would have connected the pump relay . I did this to avoid the bad pump relay from sticking open and killing my battery. Multimeter was my friend. Worked great! Still working great after several weeks.

It worked for my 2012 RAM 1500 ST / 4.7L V8 (2dr )
I like the fact that you can also use this as a test cable if you're unsure whether it's the fuel pump or TIPM (relay). I WISH I had ordered this BEFORE I assumed it was the fuel pump (294k mi) and changed it out. I'm not upset that I replaced it, as it was the original pump and I'm approaching 300K mi. I'm upset that I had to wrangle with that tank with 20gal of gas in it.I would have just used the cable temporarily until I emptied the tank, and THEN changed out my fuel pump. Either way, the cable works fine, and I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a long term (temporary) fix....other than the following things I noticed:The cable is basically a jumper used to get power from another source in your fuse box over to the fuel pump circuit. Using the M7 circuit (which has "always on" and "on with key" slots) allows you to get power to your fuel pump. I used the "on with key" slot so that the pump will only run when the key (ignition) is turned on.The issue that I see with this is that now the fuel pump will ALWAYS be on (and running) as long as the key is in the on position. Also, when you get to your destination and turn off the ignition, the pump will/should continue to run until you break the circuit (by opening your door)....just like with your radio. This isn't too much of a problem as the fuel pump should be fine (although it may wear prematurely because it is always on). The problem would be in the case of an incident where someone may not be able to open the door to break the circuit. Turning the key off and taking it out of the ignition wouldn't turn the fuel pump off, and god forbid there is a tank or fuel line rupture. Fuel would continue to pump and that could be devastating. With a working relay in place, your fuel pump should turn off when there's adequate fuel pressure in the line, and when you turn off the ignition, the pump stops automatically (no need to break the circuit). If I were to consider using this bypass cable long term or on a more permanent basis, I would look for either a circuit that is "ONLY" on when the key is turned on (so that the pump would turn off immediately when the key is turned off), or add a cut-off switch to the circuit that I could switch on/off. The ideal solution would be to install a new relay to bypass the onboard TIPM relay circuit, or have your TIPM repaired professionally if you're unable to DIY.BUT......in a pinch, this cable is probably.....NO DEFINITELY......one of the best things to have in your glove box. Because ultimately, if you drive a 2011-12 Dodge RAM (or one of their other products with the TIPM problem), you WILL have this issue at some point.....if you own it long enough.BTW, the"NEW" fuel pump I installed works great too (Advance Auto)! I actually got a noticeable increase in pickup speed (off the line) with this new pump installed.......which tells me that my old fuel pump was getting tired. Thanks for reading.......

Great product to get you out of a temporary bind
Product works great as designed. Has one major downfall, and that is the fuel pump continues to run as long as ignition is in the on position. This could create a hazard in an accident where fuel lines are damaged and leaking. Vehicles with electric fuel pumps are designed to stop pumping when the engine stops running even if the ignition is in the on position. This is a great product if the fuel pump relay is faulty and you need a temporary bypass. I used it a couple of weeks until I could get a replacement relay, which required disassembly of theTIPM TO SOLDER IN A NEW RELAY.
