I never knew these existed. I bought my little girl finger paint in little tubs (which we love and use a few times a week). But if it was my choice and not my daughters, I like these paint stick options!!! NOT NEARLY AS MESSY! But then... well not as fun for my little Lucy. She does still love them though. I still havent come to the end of any of the colors. They twist just like lipstick. No problems yet with the whole thing being twisted too much and having an major accident. Happy about that. I have been waiting to introduce paint brushes to Lucy, I thought these would be a great way for her to learn first.. As far as washing, if you get it rinsed off clothes very soon then no problem. But on some where I didn't know there was paint, and then it stayed on the clothes, yes that has not completely come out.Overall I LOVE these paint sticks and would definitely recommend! :)

These are pretty cool - they write like oil pastels and glide across the page nicely.Two of the crayons, however, will not twist and rise out of the plastic casing, rendering them kind of useless. I've tried twisting while also pressing the underside of the crayon with a narrow chopstick, but nada. It's like a lipstick stuck in its tube. Bummer bc *of course* they were the colors kiddo absolutely NEEDED to use.I'll try a different product next time, or buy them again if I see them on sale.Useful to know that the color can get pretty much every that paint can. It's very easy to draw on to skin (*ahem* parents with young toddlers), and smears readily - especially when applied to paper vigorously. If you're looking for mess reduced painting, this stuff is good. Mess free it isn't.

I would say 3.5 stars. I think the idea is great. My daughter (3 years old) loves to paint and I thought it will be great for her, because the colors are bright and fun, and it is kind of mess free. However I was little upset because 2 pencils from 12 (black and orange color) does not work. The function is similar to chap stick. We can not get out the color filling from the plastic shell. You also still need to supervise, because paint does not dry right away and kid's hands are all colored. I think I will try it again, but my brief thought was:"it should work perfect for this price" when I could not open black and orange pen.

My kids love playing with these and they're much easier and faster to break out than a bunch of paints especially for the under 4 year old crowd. The paints are so vibrant and bright and they're easy for my 2 year old to hold yet they still capture the interest of my 4 year old. Other Moms always ask me where I got these as they are not really available in stores around here. My only complaint is that they don't last very long and they are on the pricey side. These would make an excellent gift for arts and craftsy kids as they probably don't have it!

My kiddos LOVE these! Momma loves that the kiddos can paint without any mess! I'd recommend putting something under the paper when using these. My kids like to "paint" the entire sheet of paper, so I had thick lines of color all over my table after the first use. A few strips of wax paper (or parchment) under the construction paper does the job for zero cleanup (we reuse many times). These aren't labeled as washable; however, I've had no problem getting the pigment out of clothing. This has become our standard birthday gift for little friends that love to create!

I absolutely LOVE these crayons, and so does my 2 year old. She now prefers these to any other crayons or markers we have. They are thick and easy for little hands to hold. The colors are so bold, and its so smooth. I was truly impressed by how different they feel than anything else I've used. They can stain hands or clothes if touched before it 'dries' (it is tempera paint), but its always washed off skin and clothing right after use.

I tell basically everyone I know with a kid about these, because I'd never seen them before (and haven't seen them in my local craft stores) and they are GREAT! Consistency of an oil pastel, and the bold color payoff of poster paint...in a convienient, zero-mess stick. Brilliant AND quick drying. My 2 year old and I have used them on wood, paper, foam sheets, canvas, fabric and they've worked well on each. Love these things!

Ici on est fan de ce produit ! J'utilise ces crayons peinture pour ma fille de 2 ans, les couleurs sont très vives, il y en a 12, mais surtout l'immense avantage c'est que l'enfant n'en met pas partout contrairement à la peinture au pinceau ! Ces crayons peintures fonctionnent exactement comme des bâtonnets de colle, il faut tourner pour faire sortir le bâtonnet de peinture, et ils sont très faciles à prendre en main. Et aucun problème pour nettoyer les mains après. On peut donc installer l'enfant même pour quelques minutes pour faire un petit moment de peinture sans passer trop de temps à tout nettoyer après comme pour la peinture classique.. Vraiment on a adopté ce produit et on rachètera ! J'espère que mon commentaire vous aura été utile. :-)

Descubrimos este material en un taller de arte que realizamos en Madrid y nos enamoro. Nos dijeron sus eran bastante caras, pero 8,5 euros me parece un precio estupendo.Son doce colores muy bonitos y brillantes que vienen colocados en un blister y metidos en una caja de cartón. El formato es como si fuesen barras de pegamento. Llevan tapa y se sacan a rosca. Son súper blandos para pintar y no son pinturas al uso, dejan un brillo precioso, como si fuesen temperas. A mis hijos les han encantado.Tenéis la versión metalizada también disponible en Amazon. Está casi al doble de precio que esta. Probaré en alguna oferta porque los colores parecen muy bonitos.Os dejo unas fotos de como pintan, el tamaño, los colores y el envase. Creo que una imagen vale más que mil palabras!Espero que os ayude la opinión!

compré estos colores para mi hija de 20 meses porque le gusta mucho pintar y para no sacar siempre la pintura de dedos que me pide siempre pero implica más logística para manchados.Con su edad no recomiendo dejarlo a su alcance a menos que sean muy muy limpios o tengáis muebles y cosas también antimanchas :PLos colores son muy bonitos, muy vivos, pero los oscuros son bastante oscuros, les permite pintar fácilmente pero manchar mancha. Ella al ser pequeña pinta apretando y a veces si deja un pegote más grande si pasa el brazo por encima se mancha el brazo, aunque se va fácilmente.Para la ropa viendo que se giraba hacia el sofá sin mirar o que coge dos colores y lo acerca a su ropa opté por ponerle una bata fina para pintar para que no me manchara la ropa.Es una bata de comer de tela que usamos para BLW y que se limpia fácil, dejó lleno lleno de rojo y tras pasar agua y frotar un poco parece que casi se ha ido, falta pasarlo a la lavadora.Supongo que cuando sea un poco más grande que controle más ya no se manchará tanto, pero seca fácilmente y los colores quedan muy bonitos.Dejo una foto con ejemplos de como quedan pintados
