This is avery well constructed piece. I had recently bought the 2 piece kit and the mounting piece was structurally sound but the clips and the top shield was not. All the clips and the top piece broke at installation. I bought this product and I could tell the material was 100% structurally superior. This piece went right on and clipped into place with ease. If you have to do this reuse the factory clips or buy more.

It looks good at a first glance but it’s not sitting properly.It’s not sturdy enough and the connection points are not that great.Maybe glue would help to keep it in place.I had it on my car for 2 weeks and it blew off on the highway. The first set I received had some broken connectors and the second one is now gone and I can’t even return it.This is something to keep in mind that you might have to purchase it more often or go with original parts.

When the trim flew off my 2017 Explorer on the highway and the dealer gave me the run-a-round about honoring the ford recall to replace, I found this product on Amazon.Excellent product! Solid (hefty) construction,well built. Perfect Fit on my 2017 Explorer. Top quality finish and ease of installation with advise strip for good bonding. They even included extra clips.I highly recommend!!

I ordered left and right Inner and Outer. Inner went in very easily. Only complaint is the left outer piece broke during installation on one side. When adjusting the fit to ensure all snaps were lined up, the piece broke in half.

Fit is pretty good, but is missing the rubber windshield seal leaving 7mm gap along the windshield edge (see pictures). I'm going to cut a piece of pipe insulation to stuff up in there for the time being. Fortunately, I didn't need to use the replacement clip it came with, because they are too large to fit in the car-side bracket. They need some wiggle to align the panel while installing.I'm leaving it on instead of returning, in hopes Ford finally issues the OEM part to fix the recall.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Trim pieces were packaged nicely. Double boxed. Corners had foam blocks protecting them. Bought both sides. Had had no problem installing them. All the clips lined up. Side note...The weather trim is one piece unlike OEM. It is molded into the bracket trim. It made no differnce. Looks great Im happy.I was skeptical about buying these. The reviews had me worried but I would definitely recommend if yours are loose or dell off like mine
