It's exactly as shown, but...
I'm disappointed, and I'm trying to decide whether to return it I'm giving it 4 stars because it truly is precisely as described My disappointment is completely based on my own higher standards.Pros -- the color is gorgeous. It is true to the images posted.- The "PU leather" is very soft (see first "con").- The quality of the inserts is great. Heavyweight paper (feels to me like 28lb., but it's definitely at least 24lb.), and I LOVE that one of them has the chronodex on every righthand page!- the bead on the closure elastic is wood, not plastic.- the width of the cover will definitely accommodate additional inserts without all the pages "hanging out".Cons:- The inside of the PU leather is so artificial-feeling. I know it's a synthetic material, but I find that texture extremely off-putting. (I'm debating whether it's worth it to me to get some fusible webbing and try to line the cover with a piece of fabric.)- It's slightly taller than a standard size midori, and while I knew that prior to purchasing, I'm not sure if I like it.- as delivered, the closure elastic has already left indentatioms in the cover.All in all, for the price it's really good. If you like the photos, you'll like the notebook. Just be aware of what it isn't.

Great Journal for the money!
l for the price!!!Listen!!! This journal is sooo much nicer in person than in the pictures. I've been wanting to purchase a travelers journal for some time now to house my financial planning and budgeting systems The prices of more well known brands have largely kept me away because of the price tag. For $14.99 I wasn't expecting much but I'm blown away by the faux leather as well as the journals and pocket folders it contained! If they ever release a smooth plain black I will be all over it because I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase! I may even purchase extras as Christmas gifts! Note: it's not as white as the phote suggests. See my photos.

Useful and sturdy
The size is perfect for my purse. The paper quality is thick and very sturdy. The cover is not real leather, but I hope it lasts. This is a great starter TN. I like the grey, but I wish it came in other colors too other than the turquoise. Other than that, great product for the price.
