My boys had these years ago and our grandson used to play with them when he was growing up. He is a young man now and he is autistic. One Sunday afternoon he came to me and asked for a "square ball". He is mostly non-verbal, so I had no idea what he wanted. He knew exactly what he wanted, but could not convey that to me. So we both got on Amazon and looked at balls. Baby balls with rattles inside, play balls, rubics cubes, stress balls, and even something that I didn't even know existed and have ordered many since - "gyro balls". He kept telling me no, no, not that. Finally I asked him if we ever have them here and he said yes. Then I asked him what color it was, and he said blue. After three and a half hours I figured out what it was and bought him several different sizes and colors, but it is this blue one that he remembered from years ago and enjoys them all very much. By the way, they are called a "fidget snake", "magic snake", etc., but to my grandson it is a "square ball".

These are pretty solidly built, and the large size is nice for going beyond the basics.

I got a smaller version of this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas, and my son played with it until it broke. I decided to step it up and get a bigger one and he's continued to play with it for months.

Sturdy

I've bought others like this (from Ganowo) and they were much better. This one is very loose/floppy and annoyingly noisy.
