Scotty's Everyday - Keto Pancake and Waffle Mix - 1g Net carbs, 0g Added Sugar, Gluten-Free, High Fiber - No Nut Flours - 9.08oz, Pack of 1

I was prepared to hate this mix as so many others taste well like crap! First of all the taste is not off putting like so many other brands but what I really was impressed with is both the texture and fluffiness! These look like pancakes, cool like pancakes and with some sugar free syrup or jam are just what I want something healthy and comfort like!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:For a Keto substitution for pancakes it was pretty good! I was actually surprised at how good they tasted. A little crumbly, but the taste was there!

Taste was good. Nice to have a healthy alternative. But amount is small and not ideal for making waffles.

I do not understand how this made it to market nor how anyone can eat these. The flavor is neutral, which I expected and even appreciated, however, they are beyond dry. I made the whole batch at once. The batter was a very thick and I ended up adding 2 more tablespoons of water. It created the most beautiful pancakes. The color, golden brown, thick and fluffy. I wanted to originally use the batter to coat hot dogs and then deep fry but I have disabling fatigue and it was just a dream. I went to eat a pancake and as I said, beyond dry. The batter was normal in thickness, so I'm guessing it's the modified starch, much like keto flours made from fiber, such as bamboo fiber, it's very drying. I actually want to try these one more time, but skip the water and add melted butter until I get the same batter thickness. I really want this to work. I never would lower myself to use a mix before but my disability causes things like this to make life easier.I plan on tearing them into pieces and putting them into an alfredo sauce as I already have that made and in the fridge, to see if that makes them usable.I do not want a refund. I am just reporting my experience as I appreciate it when others are honest about their review of products.

Followed directions precisely the first batch and they turned out very dry and chalky. Seems there would be tips on how to prevent the dryness? Cooks up well, just not a good mouth feel or moist enough.

These are great! Just make sure not to overcook them, a light golden brown is all you need. First time cooking then, I overcooked a couple because it's hard to get them temperature right using a pan on an electric stovetop. 2nd time, I used my electric griddle that has temperature control and they all came out great! Preheat to 375, then drop it to 365, add batter, cook 2.5 min, flip, then about 3 min, and you're good. Add some choczero syrup and you're all set for a delicious pancake breakfast!

I've been using the Scotty's Keto pancake and waffle mix and it's absolutely fantastic! These pancakes are delicious and super easy to prepare. I love that they are made with all clean ingredients, so I feel good about what I am eating. Plus, they fit perfectly into my keto diet with their high fiber, content, and zero sugar.I believe it is important for more people to discover keto friendly products like this one of Scotty's , as there are still so few options out there. We made pancakes with the mix. It becomes thick very quickly. I added a couple extra tablespoons of water to the mix to make it easier to work with. It was like making pancakes with other types of batter. However in eating the pancakes, they were very dry and although we expected they may take a little different the taste was unpleasant. We tried altering our us of syrup and butter to improve the flavor. It didn't help. We ended up tossing out the remaining pancakes. I have 2 other packets of mix that I will never use?
