Nice every day shoes. Worth the cost.

At the base of the tongue, the synthetic leather crumples because it isn’t as stout as real leather. So, I can feel the material sitting on top of my foot/toes and it bothers me. I’m going to try and cut slots in the tongue to run the laces through and see if that helps. Other than that, the shoes are adequate. I like the styling.Update: I cut the slots in the tongue and ran the laces through. It is holding, but it didn’t fix the part that already slid down. Needs thicker material or to be doubled up at the base of the tongue to prevent this. I am wearing the shoes today and I do like them and wear them from time to time.

These were nice looking shoes in my opinion. I got what I paid for; a cheap pair of shoes that I wore maybe 18-20 times. Base on the top view the shoes look ok. The synthetic leather is fraying at the stitch lines. Paint on heals are wearing off. What is most disappointing is the soles. I thought the tan sole was a solid piece of rubber. I was wrong it is laminated rubber sole to make it look like a solid sole. These are suppose to be casual walking shoes. This is a result after wearing approximately 20 times. Once you the tan layer wears off the sole will start breaking down twice as fast. I am 145 lbs; you are large or heavier set these shoes will wear down even faster. Good if you want short term disposable shoes.

The shoes appear to be OK for the money, definitely wouldn’t expect them to hold up if I wore them often as the material which makes up the shoe appeared to be thin and a bit cheap. They were good looking shoes but they absolutely run big. I wear a 10 in most shoes and occasionally a 9.5 in some style/maker shoes. I did read a few reviews that said they run true to size and some that said they ran a little big. It was tough to decide which size to buy but I decided on the 9.5, unfortunately even the 9.5 was too big. I was able to return them for a refund and ultimately decided not to buy the smaller size. I’ll hopefully find a shoe that I’m more confident will be made a little bit better. It was an easy, no hassle return.
