Bonne Maman 2020 Limited Edition Advent Calendar, with 24 Mini Fruit Spreads and Honey

I have had advent calendars over the years that either had a hidden candy or toy treat which could be opened, one door at a time, from December 1 through 24 to celebrate the days before Christmas. Those calendars were made primarily with children as the intended recipients. I've purchased and enjoyed giving many such calendars.I recently came across the Bonne Maman Limited Edition Advent Calendar with 24 different varieties of Jams, Jellies, and Honeys. The serving size is 30 grams (which is approximately one ounce.) I thought it was genius as it can be given to anyone from a child to an adult as a wonderful and thoughtful gift.I purchased one for my husband and me to share. I was able to open the calendar from the side to take photos and to put it back together. We went ahead and opened and enjoyed day one, so we could see the serving size the and taste for the purposes of both this review and to make our decision to buy this item as gifts for this holiday season. The decision was quickly made to buy the gifts – it is a wonderful item to give family and friends at Thanksgiving, so they can enjoy opening the calendar through December.Something that drew me to this calendar is that, following gall bladder surgery several years ago, I am unable to eat items which include high fructose corn syrup without becoming quite ill. Most jams and jellies do include it but the company, Bonne Maman, which makes this calendar does not use it in their products.They also have a list of the ingredients of each of the containers. I'll include a photo of that as well. I was thankful for that list as I identified one container that did include a product that I am personally allergic to. When we open that day, my husband will enjoy it by himself. I also noted that the expiration date of the product that I received is May 2018 but I know that we will use each container on the day we open it.The serving size is just right for to two of us to share. It is a good size small taste that can guide me in which ones I will purchase in a larger size. All of the wording on the actual product is in French though the packaging is in English. I was able to easily use an internet-based translator to find out that Day 1, Fraises a la Verveine, is Strawberries with Verbena. The flavor was strawberries with a light, almost floral note that was delicious.We are looking forward to opening each day's treat!

Really like this advent calendar. Good gift set. The only reason for 4 stars is wished it had a few more honey in the set.

We have done a 24-day advent calendar with our kids for the past 10 years. We've done everything from pokemon cards, legos, chocolates, figurines--and we are shocked to report that this advent JAM was our favorite?! Our kids are 8 and 10, and they had so much fun having toast every morning with us and discussing that day's jam flavor?! It sounds ridiculously wholesome (and it was) but we were truly shocked that this advent jam was more fun for our family than the TOYS we'd done in years past. We'll do this again--it truly was delightful!

I came across these a few years back after they were long gone. This is just about the best advent calendar I have seen, and if they are still available I will be purchasing more as gifts. The jars are tiny, just enough for 1 or two servings, but there is a wonderful range of flavors. I wish several of them were available in larger size or year round, but am glad to be able to have such a great variety, and the very limited nature of the flavors is part of what makes it specialBon Maman makes very good quality jams and preserves. There are some classic flavors and some pretty wild ones. The packaging is cute and kept the contents safe. (Not everything packed in glass makes it to Hawaii intact). My daughter is already eyeing the little jars for spices and infusioon.... she makes. She is a chef and is loking forward to reusing them to send small gifts to friends, packed with her own delicacies. There is a lot to like here even if you are not using it as an advent calendar. (I could hardly wait to open it with some of the wonderful flavors inside.

Got this for my wife after she took home some jelly from a fancy hotel breakfast as a joke. She loved it and each jar is perfect for 2 slices of toast! Can also reuse the tiny jars if needed also!

These jams are so cute and tiny and yummy. It's perfect for my parents! They are excited to open a brand new ( and yes different) flavor every day. And dad keeps the jars for all the little things he collects

This is one of the cutest advent calendars that I have ever seen! And all the jams and jellies and honey are absolutely delicious. The only thing I have to say slightly negative is that the little jars are extremely difficult to get out. I actually had to use a knife and pliers to remove them after I opened each door and caused damage to the surrounding area in the removal process. I believe it would be helpful if the company placed a hole in the back of each compartment where you could just push out the jar with your finger from the back after opening the door. Other than that this is a fantastic product! Next year I will order more than this year and give them to all of my friends and family! By the way for those of you who have never tasted Bonne Maman jams and preserves from France they are incredible! I am a really big fan of their cherry..also the blueberry and the apricot....but all their flavors are super delicious! And they don’t use any high fructose corn syrup...in fact no corn syrup...no preservatives or colors added either........It is now September of 2019 and I have just ordered these advent calendars for the third year in a row. The price has gone up but I don’t really care because these calendars are well worth it. One thing that I really like is that everything is an English now so I don’t need to translate. I have given these to friends and my lawn guy, my doctor, my furnace guy, my tax lady and of course several to myself. Everybody loves them! It continues to be a wonderful Christmas idea or to just celebrate life in general. This is definitely one of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased on Amazon!

I ordered this in the afternoon and it was here the following lunchtime (I don't have Amazon Prime). It was well packaged and in immaculate condition.I can't comment on the contents because it's going to be a present for my mum but she loves Bonne Maman jams.OK... it's after Christmas now. Mum loved all the jams. Just disappointed that behind the final door was Bonne Maman bauble & not jam.

Robust, feels good quality, pretty and exactly like the photo. Lovely array of Bonne Maman jars inside (all in French but that just adds to the charm). Nice flavours that feel unusual compared to the ones available in the supermarket. Excellent way to get through December, much more fulfilling than one little chocolate in the morning!

Bought this for my mum too entertain her in the run up to Christmas. She loved it, I am definitely getting myself one next year!!A different tiny pot of jam a day, just enough for breakfast, lots of interesting flavours.

Daughter was absolutely delighted with them they made a change from chocolate and had some different flavours which she had not had.
