I like the story

This series is one of the best contemporary western series I've followed. It's on Net Flex which I can't get so I buy the CD's. This year was a Fantastic Season, it answers a lot of questions yet leaves us with more which since Season 6 is now a YES should be answered. I am personally very interested in the Native American character of Henry Standing Bear and how he gets out of his present predicament with a whole skin so to speak. And am also waiting for the show's nemesis Malici and his group of NA crooks to get what's coming to him big time. For Walt to find another solid lady friend. For the NA casino to start producing enough to actually do some good for the reservation and it's people. And many more things. Anyone who likes authentic western and NA adventure that is not full of gore will love this series. When it was still on AMC it was the first show that we taped and watched each week.

I think the seasons 1-5 is AWESOME. i never thought i would get so involved in these seasons. i borrowed them from the library first. Watched all of these seasons & then i bought all 5 seasons. i always liked westerns but with a modern western like this " It's a cat's Meow". i hope they continue with these seasons for a good many yrs like ncis is and done now. make 15 seasons of this as well as ncis did. i got super involved in this right from the first season. keep up with the good acting on this one. i also had my daughter download 4 of his longmire mystery books on the kindle she gave me. over $44.00 worth. I hope they will be awesome books to read as well as the awesome dvd seasons. Can't wait till season 6 goes down in price so i can purchase that season as well. ginny

The best Western series I've ever seen and I've watched a lot of westerns whether series or movies over the years. The meld of the book/author/actors/producers/scenery/filming and the depth of versatile this reveals! You will not be disappointed for SIX series now! Stellar cast and you've seen most all of them in big movies and tv dramas that were hits. They all stayed together for all 6 seasons! I am looking forward to S6 being released as a DVD for sale on Amazon. I just finished watching and am sad it is not continuing to S7 but happy I can have the DVDs. If you are looking for something like you've not seen, watch this entire series on the DVDs or the source network. 1-5 is on Amazon as DVD for sale.

We've been with this series since the beginning, and each season has left us wanting more. Season Five is no exception.(Sadly, we won't be getting very much more, since it seems the series will end with Season 6.)I recommend starting with Season One, because while many of the episodes are "stand-alone" stories, some are continued for a few episodes before being resolved. There are also some character connections that are important to the overall story line.I won't give spoilers to any of the seasons, but I'll say that with such an excellent cast, compelling plot, humor, and great scenery, you too will be sorry to see "Longmire" end!

This makes the fifth season I’ve watched this TV program. Like the other four seasons, this latest one is excellent. It’s a modern day take of classic Westerns. Longmire, the lead character in the show, is superb as a sheriff in a small town. The actor Robert Taylor portrays sheriff Longmire extremely well. The supporting cast (his deputies, his daughter, the people in the Native American reservation adjacent to the town) are also portrayed excellently. Actress Katee Sackoff portrays deputy Vic Moretti on the program, and she is very good in her role. If you enjoy modern day Western dramas, you will enjoy this TV series.

If anything Longmire Season 5 is even better than the thoroughly enjoyable previous seasons. If a problem, it left me wishing for Season 6 to become available immediately to determine the outcomes of the various problems left hanging at the end of this season. That is, will Longmire win the lawsuit, is Vic really pregnant and will she have a child with Travis, etc.

Depuis au moins 3 ans je suivais sur le câble la série mais le canal ne cessait de reprendre et rejouer les saisons 1 à 3, j'ai éventuellement trouvé la saison 4 en magasin et j'avais compris que faire affaire avec Amazon.ca, çà serait drôlement plus rapide pour la saison 5 et +.

Longmire has been the best drama to hit television in many years. Great storyline , outstanding actors and phenomenal cinema photography for TV.I have the first five seasons on DVD. Too bad there will only be one more season. This series should have gone for at least 12 seasons.
