My primary reason for purchasing NS2020 was to reset BMS after replacing the battery on 2014 Ford Focus SE. First attempt out of the box was unsuccessful. I contacted Nexas, they were very responsive and helpful. I had Software Version V1.01 loaded on my unit. They sent me V1.10 with instructions and it worked fine. It has enough capability in other areas for my needs and doesn't have an internal battery. I did try a Harbor Freight Zurich ZR13 (which has an internal battery) and it could not reset BMS. I attached pics sent to me, my car didn't have rear fog light key (switch). Ron P.

Is fine as a code reader for BMW. However for battery registration, it only registers a new battery that is the same as the battery it replaced. It does not allow you to change the ampere hour to match your new battery nor change registration from lead to AGM battery or vice versa.

Does not register battery in 2005 545i as described! I have been trying to get a hold of the company for almost a year with no luck, DO NOT PURCHASE ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!!

I purchased this item to be able to register a new battery I purchased for my wife's 2011 BMW 335i. It was not able to perform the task. It would not let me enter the new battery INFO. Kept kicking me back to the main menu.

I made the mistake to Purchase this NEXAS product-- I needed a battery registration tool for work we install batteries everyday and this one looked like it would be perfect for the cars we service.. out of at lest 40 Plus attempts not one car was successfully reset , all on Make model and years they claim to cover 100% fail !!!! Very easy to contact the company, but they wont help AVOID NEXAS!!!
