Light yet sturdy
These are very compact when disassembled, and sturdy when in use. The assembly instructions are printed on the staff itself. The height adjustment is very easy even if you have limited mobility in your fingers. I found the handle very comfortable.

Awesome collapsible hiking sticks
These hiking poles are awesome! They collapse easily & are easy to put together. I used them hiking in rocks up a mountain & also in snow. They did great! I put them in my luggage & they also fit in my backpack.

Good for an added twist to walking and/or hiking
Good for walking and balance. Easy to adjust their height, are lightweight and easy to use provided links and videos. Good to help with walking and improving balance. Videos of proper technique help you adjust to coordinating your arms with your feet to walk smoothly on different surfaces, including uphills and downslopes. Great exercise for your arms too. These are foldable and packable for travel, but may need to be checked in luggage for flights since they have sharp tips under their various choices of protective rubber tips for different surfaces. Good price for a good set to learn and use whether in the neighborhood or for hiking the trails.

Well built, with one obvious weakness.
While researching for a new set of poles, I found many complaints about how the rubber feet would wear quickly and that the carbide tip would pierce through the rubber feet. I thought the solution was to find poles with threads at the tip that would help keep the carbide tips from slipping and piercing the rubber feet. That is the main reason why I chose these poles. To my surprise, the designers went one step further. There are metal washers at the inside bottom of the rubber feet. This will do a better job at keeping the carbide tips from piercing the rubber feet and cause premature wear.My biggest concern for a single point of failure with this pole design is the locking mechanism for height adjustment. It is made of plastic and will likely break at some point. These poles are described as being made with 7075 aircraft aluminum, which is supposed to be much stronger than the 6061 grade aircraft aluminum, but no matter how hard the pole is, they cannot be used if the locking snap is broken. I hope they learn from this design flaw and replace plastic locking snaps with metal ones. The best thing to do is to tighten the locking snaps just enough to keep the pole's components from sliding into each other, but not any tighter so as to reduce the stress point that would cause the plastic to break apart. With minor and slight tightening of the locking tabs, I was able to place both hands onto the top of one pole and lift myself out of a chair. I weigh roughly 180 lbs, so each pole, with very slight tightness adjustment to the locking snaps, is able to hold a lot of that weight. The height adjustment for these poles ranges from 110cm to 130cm. At 5'10" (177cm), I found the height adjustment at the 114cm mark easily meets the 90 degree forearm position needed for me, with plenty of room to spare for adjusting further. Five notches down would be the minimum height. It seems these poles are designed for tall people in mind, or for those who prefer to hold poles at a high position instead of the 90 degree forearm position. In conclusion, I think these poles will suffice and hopefully will last for a while. In the meantime, I will be searching for ones with metal locking snaps, and inserting metal washers inside the rubber feet if they do not already exist.

small and light and easy to assemble
These trekking poles will fit in my small 22" roller bag (I hear that trekking poles have to be in checked luggage though). They are lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble and have only one adjustment point which can be tightened by hand, if needed. They are skinny and so feel less supportive, although I think they are just fine. They are great for the price and will work will for travel. The hot pink color is fun.

They broke
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had these now for about 6 months. Haven’t used them except for a handful of times. Just went to use them yesterday and the locking mechanism is already stuck. Can’t get it to lock so one of the poles was completely useless! Being able to fold them up is nice, but I suppose it just means more parts to break too soon! Really disappointed!

They worked great in my hike down the Grand Canyon.
I thought these were excellent for assistance in walking. I walk very well without a problem but sometimes you lose your balance just a little bit and that helps you get through it. I just used these in the mighty five in Utah and the Grand Canyon and Sedona and I loved using them. I have a walking stick at home, but I needed something for the trip away and these pack perfectly. I want to figure out how to Set them up everything works fine and they are more sturdier than one was suspect. I’m glad I made these purchase before I went on my trip.
