LOVE IT!!!!
Love it, Love it and love it a bit more!This is a polystyrene bird with real looking feathers! I had it delivered at work and due to some complications with drivers, it finally arrived 4 days late (thank you Amazon for sorting things out). I had to open the box and my staff and I had a good half an hour of laughs as it is really good. It's very light in weight and the elastic band is good enough to hold it in place on a man's shoulder. It's head is slightly bent so it looks like it is talking to you and I think it is the funniest prop I have seen in a long time. We are going to have a wonderful Pirates and Princesses party (it's a friend's 6 year old party). Arrr Arrr Arrr!13/07/14 AFTER PARTY UPDATE:The kids were mesmerised and kept touching it and caressing it. The adults laughed and I was happy. I took a selfie for facebook and many asked if it was real! RESULT! :)

Perfect addition to a costume is a bit fragile on tail will brake if not taken care off fits nicely on shoulder however when the night got late partying did start to fall off …

Good quality
To complete the Ace ventura outfit. Although the tail feathers were hanging off it took 2 mins to glue back on. Was worth the money.

Poor product
This is a very poorly made item from polystyrene with a few feathers stuck on. When it arrived one of the feathers had fallen out, the beak later fell off, the shoulder strap didn't really work so it kept falling off the shoulder. I have had to return it as is it is not fit for purpose.

Broken on arrival
The elastic was not attached to the birds feet. You could see small dried dots of glue where it should have been attached and the loop of elastic was undone too. I sewed the small piece of elastic around the feet and then looped the other piece and then sewed them together. It worked but shouldn’t have had to do this to something purchased new. It did then stay on my shoulder and finished off my costume. I would say, purchase it if you want to make your entrance to your fancy party look good and are willing to make a few adjustments to it.
