THENICE Unisex Cotton Sun Cap Outdoor Bucket Mesh Boonie Hat

I have over the last few months purchased three of these hats as they are so good! I had bought the first one for my husband (who is bald) because he needed something that wouldn't be too hot or heavy and so with the mesh on the top we thought it might do the trick. It does!I then bought a second one so he has one to keep in the shed for when he does the gardening and mows the lawn and one in the hallway for when he walks the dog. Fit wise (he does have a large head) he found it fitted with no problem, there is a small 'buckle' at the back that you can use to make it slightly larger/smaller if needed.I have never been able to wear a hat due to headaches, (to be honest I should have been born a Bat as me and the sun just dont get on), but the sun has been so strong and bright this week that I borrowed his spare one when we went out walking just to see if I could get on with it. Again because of the netting/mesh at the top of the hat I found it cooler and the material is light weight so no pressure on my head. It also helped shade my eyes. I have therefore purchased a third one for myself which I can pop on when putting out the washing or doing some gardening or going out walking. Using the 'buckle' at the back I was able to make it a smaller fitI would really recommend the hat, it is a low price but to be honest I was still impressed by the quality. They have a few colours but we went for the lightest colour again to help with the coolness of the fabric.

I liked the look of the hat, but was not sure if it would fit being a one size fits all. But needn't have worried because it fitted perfectly. I am really made up with it.Nice and light too. Best hat on my hat rack.Why not treat yourself.👍

It's easy to pack and I don't care if it gets crumpled. I just need to keep the sun off my balding head which it does brilliantly. Keeps me cool with the vented top and helps with the summer insects too. It fits my nuggin great due to the adjustability. It will need washed soon as it fair soaks up sweat so I hope it will survive a few washes. Even if it only lasts a couple of seasons, it is decent for the price.

I'm happy with the style and look of it as I wanted something light and floppy for going on long walks over summer, but - I'm a 6 7/8 hat size and this is slightly tighter than I would care for. I might try and stretch it or it will probably give me headaches after a while. I should have known better when it said one size fits all. How can that be if there is no adjustment band? You couldn't sell a one-size fits all shoe. I'll have to give it away. I'm unhappy with the sales blurb as it is misleading.

Some strange criticisms in other reviews which are misleading. Someone said it was too floppy. Well its not advertised as a slouch hat as worn by the Australian Army. It is in fact a Boonie hat or Bush Hat, with side snaps, depending where you are from.It will be a lot cooler than a cheap polyester hat which is non breathable. This is all cotton with mesh so it won't be like wearing a pressure cooker.As for the debate on size. I am size 58 hat size and it would fit a slightly larger head. However, as any serviceman will tell you, it can be tightened on the head. Take the draw string towards the rear label, put hat on head and then tighten the draw string to the back of your skull. (there is a vid on You Tube) It will not then come off whilst running or in a breeze.So a great hat and much cheaper and better quality than similar ones I looked at in Millets today.

Great hat. One size is snug on me but fine. My head isn’t big so if you do have a larger than average head size then this hat may not be for you.

Lightweight and easy to wear. Keeps sun off face and neck.
