I’m always wary of buying sharpeners. Some can be very disappointing. This however, isn’t.Sharpens smoothly to a needlepoint. No need to worry about using your expensive pencils and nibs snapping off. Good value for money, easy to use and having two sizes makes is convenient.Easy to open, empty and less mess.

Great item does the job without a mess

I needed a new pencil sharpener. The look of this particular one appealed to me. It was reasonable priced and does the job.

Nice sharpener

While it probably makes me sound stupid if I say that it took me a while to work out how to use this - a pencil sharpener! In fact you don't put your pencil in the hole as I expected - rather that hole is a hinge and the sharpener swings out from there. Once I worked that out it was fine. I actually have a manual desk sharpener at home which I generally use to sharpen my pencils before I set out, however, you always need to have a portable sharpener on hand while you're out as the desk one is too large for field work.This fits into the kit bag and works well so I expect it will be perfect for emergencies.

Good quality sharpener for pencils. Sharpens clean and no dragging. Handy that it collects the shavings too.
