It's convenient but steams the popcorn
I used to do my popcorn in a pot on the stove, I decided to get this microwave popcorn maker because it seems more convenient and easy.Overall it's fine but it does steam the popcorn a bit so the texture it's a bit soggy, I'll try to drill a hole on the top and see if the steam scapes and I get better results. The plastic is made off is average quality, after a couple of uses is not looking that good. But it s convenient and easy to use

This is a very cheap bit of plastic
I bought this as I just wanted a quick result for me on my own. I thought the idea of the bowl on top was good as I simply had to turn it over and all the popped corn would stay inside. The design idea is good but the 2 really poor quality bits of plastic are just not worth the asking price. Well the corn does stay inside but that is only the seeds that popped as there was a lot that did not pop. I took out the popped ones and tried again with the un-popped seeds. One or two managed to pop but they began to taste burned when I left them in for longer. Sadly, I did not keep the packaging or back this would go. I cannot recommend this and would advise that a proper machine might be the best option. It might save you from having to throw out the corn that is left every time. I note that the seller has added another £2 to the price in the last couple of weeks. This is an outrageous increase for what is just a cheap plastic unit. Is this yet another ploy to evade Brexit I wonder.

Wow that is tiny
This will make a toddlers portion of popcorn. Also you can't flavour it that I can see of. I bought this as a gift so I haven't personally used it. That means I don't know how well is does or does not cook. I do know that most adults eat about 5 times what this makes when they visit the cinema and buy a medium or large popcorn. It seems like it is made to a good quality but I can't test that out fully without having cooked and cleaned it.

It makes popcorn maker. Put the popcorn in, ...
It makes popcorn maker. Put the popcorn in, put it in the microwave, after a few minutes you have popcorn.Does what is says on the box, otherwise it would not be a popcorn maker.

Simple to use and works without having to watch over it as long as you enter correct time for your power rating of microwave.
I have tried two methods for popcorn making before this: first, the good old saucepan and lid on stove method, which generally ends up eith inedible partly burnt popcorn and hard to clean pan, and the reliable method I came up with, of buying microwave steam bags, and shoving popcorn with a little knob of butter in it, sealing and mictowaving for 3 minutes (oh, and of course I have used butterkist microwave popcorn but its expensive so I came up with the steambag method). Anyhow, this popcorn maker is a plastic container with easy close clips and handle to prevent burning of your hand on removal, and you just add 55g popcorn to it, no bitter or fat, and cook in microwave for 3 minutes. It worked well, and there were some unpopped kernals but only about 25 which is similar to my usual method. I liked the way you could remove it easily using the handle as often I get scalded with the bag method. Also its far easier to set up and is reusable. A big thumbs up from me for this.Update: I tried using half the amount of popping kernals in case there was a need for more room or so that all kernals got enough heat but there still was similar proportion unpopped kernals so its just the corn I think.

Perfect popcorn every time
This is my second purchase of this popcorn maker....which speaks for itself! I had the first one for several years before it needed to be replaced due to my own fault for having it on too long in the microwave and plastic base burnt...a few times..!!! Didn't detract from use but a casualty of my mis-timing not the product. Still have the upper part as a spare. It makes perfect popcorn every time and is frequently requested by grandchildren.Word of caution: ** Need to be careful when undoing top to remove popcorn when cooked as can be very hot.

Small and cheap
Container is on the smallish side and plastic is not the strongist - First time I used it I broke off one of the clips on the side when trying to secure lid.
