These are solid cast iron with some kind of plating/epoxy on the outside so they don't rust. They weigh 2.5 pounds each (I checked) and they are perfect for throwing into a gym bag because it seems like no gyms ever seem to carry them. money well spent, plus they are half the cost of other 2.5 pound plates

Loved these and really sad they didn't fit my bar learned the hard way my bar was smaller then normal gym bar!

Nice weights but would’ve appreciated it to have gotten all 4 like I ordered

2 of the 4 plates came with large burrs inside that make it very difficult to go on and off my barbells and racks but for the money I didn’t expect perfection. Luckily I can grind off burrs myself but more quality control on their products would go a long way with customer satisfaction.
