Why did you choose this product over others?:Love this radio . Bought for my 90+ year old mum so ease of use was essential. Straight- forward and looks quality. Has 3 presets per wavelength but wish it had one more

I move this around to different rooms in my home, it's light weight and easy to carry. Sound quality in my opinion is excellent and high volume doesn't distort the sound. I use this on a daily basis and recommend it if you are a radio fan. Dials and changing of radio stations is easy and functionality is straight forward and nice to see the lit up display when it is on in the dark at night. I highly recommend it! There is also a means to plug in ear phones which is nice to listen to when you want to block out surrounding sounds.

A really nice small radio. It’s light and can easily be carried in one hand but it is sturdily built. Volume could perhaps go a little higher, but its perfectly adequate in our kitchen. There are only three pre set stations, however the tuning dial is easy to use when you need to find a new station, and the station display is clear. No bass or treble adjustment. We mostly use it for speech stations so that hasn’t been an issue. while we mostly run it off the mains it does seem to have good battery( 4 x AA) life. We tried it with a set of 1.2 v rechargeable batteries but it didn’t work with them.

Good radio for the price! Dab with FM. Obviously Dab uses more battery power than the FM. Been using with rechargeable batteries....1300mah and lasts for about 24hrs continuous playback on a volume level of about 20, which is sufficient for most conditions...whilst working. Have invested in some higher powered rechargeable batteries and does last longer. Power supply wire seems a bit flimsy but as i'll mostly be using it with batteries that's ok (power supply designed for occasional use i reckon)Overall, good little portable for the price, good sound for speech, don't expect it to be fantastic if you listen to Kiss Fm! But good for five live, radio 4, radio 3, talksport etc....Speech is clear! Basically an alternative to a small sports radio.

Very quick delivery - and this radio is perfect in every way. It looks good, sounds good, the buttons are clear and easy to use, and it works the instant you plug it in. Another big plus is that it has a good length cable - which not all radios of this size seem to have these days. Buy it - you'll not be disappointed!

I wanted a compact DAB radio to take on holiday and as a brand I trust I purchased this Roberts radio and was not disappointed. Attractive case, easy to set up and for the size very good sound quality. Could maybe do with more than 3 presets but for me that was plenty. Can be run via a supplied mains adaptor, have only used on battery so far and batteries 12 days old and used at least an hour a day and still no signs of going flat. Now resides in our bathroom.

I wanted a radio that was mains and battery powered as we have a lot of power cuts and this one fitted the bill. Its very easy to tune and store the stations unlike my previous Roberts radio that wouldn't store any of the stations . The reception is really good on DAB as well.
