Urban Kanga Travel Car Seat Portable and Foldable Group 1 for 9-18 Kg Uptown (TV107) (Black)

This seat is great for travelling when doing transfers and short trips. It is very easy to install and my toddler likes it but he will not nap on it and it is quite upright. So if doing journeys that are more than 90 mins I would recommend taking a bigger seat but the kanga is excellent for travelling when cars are involved but they aren't the main mode of transport. I wouldn't do a road trip with one but it has been great for holidays where we hire a car for short distances but get there via train or plane.

This car seat is perfect for a weekend break where the easiest solution is a short taxi ride from the airport. It folds quite small into its carrier bag which is sturdier than some of the other reviews suggest but I didn't feel entirely comfortable checking it as is so I put it in our usual car seat checked bag which has some padding. I also put a bag of nappies and a portable high chair in the car seat checked bag with it! The Urban Kanga is very easy to install in a car using the 3-point seat belt harness and it was comfortable enough that our 18-month old fell asleep for the 20 minute ride. It definitely is light enough that we could carry it around or put it under the pram if needed. I would not use this for every day as it is quite minimalist but it is perfect for travel or occasional use.

This is an extremely light weight car seat and suitable for air travel. The seat does not recline. We brought a rolled up towel and placed it under the seat to help make it comfortable for my 22 month old. Still, my child would not lay back and had a hard time going to sleep. May want to consider another seat if traveling over 6 hours. Kept the little squirmer strapped in, but with regular protests.Also, when I checked out on Amazon, the price/ resulting invoice was only £83.95 as I live in the Channel Islands but somehow, I was charged £92.50 when the item was dispatched? This item was listed as a Prime item. On a side note, this bait and switch tactic is used with Amazon Prime memberships. Signed up for the annual billing option yet charged for one monthly subscription of £12.99, then the yearly one month later???

Purchased this car seat so that my 2 year old boy could ride in the front of my car instead of just my wife’s. I wanted something portable and easy to instal and remove so day to day I can put it away. This product is superb, so unbelievably easy to instal - I just followed the video on the product info page and it was done in a couple of minutes. Fits so nicely and is really soft, my boy absolutely loves it! Highly recommended for loads of different uses even for something semi permanent as it’s clearly also really safe. Great product and value for money.

We bought this for a cruise this summer. Lots of port days and, having tried in vain to find taxis with car seats abroad before, this was exactly what we were after. It's still a bit bulky to carry around with you but it just about fit in our pushchair's basket. If it was much smaller I don't think I'd trust it's safety. Our almost 2 year old was perfectly happy in it, even for journeys of 2 hours and it was super quick to get in and out of cars. All in all, really happy with it - just wish it had been around when our oldest was younger (partly to get our money's worth, £130 is a lot for a chair we won't use that much!)

Wow our granddaughter loves this chair she can’t wait to go on a journey in the car so she can sit in her favourite car seat .The car seat was so easy to install and so easy to pop into the catty bag when transferring from one car to another vehicle. The only slight problem l have is trying to clip the buckle as it needs to be aligned exactly which is a little tricky with a wriggly toddler , once you hear the click you know it’s good to go in-fact my little granddaughter always says wait for the click then we can go lol.

I ordered this for my daughter and her partner who were going abroad and would be driving an old car so it had to be portable and front facing. It is perfect on both counts It’s very lightweight and comes with a carry case, very easy to fit, I suppose the only drawback is that it is upright so if they nod off in it the head lolls forward, so you had to physically put them in a more comfortable position. I now use it in my car for when I have my granddaughter, overall I’m really pleased with it .

My daughter complains about where the fastening sits on her thighs that it’s too tight and she’s uncomfortable. She’s 2.5 years old and average height and weight but no matter what we try she doesn’t seem comfortable in the chair.
