Great value, works perfectly
I needed to connect a serial device (AtariVox) for use with an Atari 2600 emulator (Stella), and this worked perfectly. I especially appreciated that all of the necessary cables were included. Other reviews of this board have pointed out that there are two pins that have been bridged by solder - however this is not an issue, as both pins are connected (by design) to ground anyway.

Programmed quite a few esp8266 boards with no issues
Perfect. I cut up the wires it came with as there were perfect for pining out for programing anything.I've programed over 10 ESP8266 relay boards using this and a wiring diagram for home assistant.

Great value, works for ps3 syscon
Adapter worked great. Included USB cable and jumper wires. Did not require any drivers on win10. Plug and play!Used this adapter to connect a broken ps3 to the SYSCON menu for diagnostics. Worked like a charm.

It'll do Donkey, but Watch for Missing Parts
Works as described, but was missing the voltage selector jumper. Also get a magnifying glass to read the pinouts; in my case, I took a picture and zoomed in.If you're having problems like I did and the unit would not take commands, I had to make a software switch to tell the serial command to use "carriage return & new line" CR\NL. Also make sure your baud rate is set correctly to the device it's talking to.

Easy to use
I wanted to use an 3.3V Arduino Pro Mini (modified for very low current) for a project but had no experience with Arduino boards without USB connections. The WWZMDiB Mini USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter, 3.3V/5.5V, FTDI Breakout Board for Arduino worked flawlessly. And it was unexpectedly easy to use -- plug and play. I'm happy.

Defective out of the box, Odd pinout.
I've used a few of these serial USB converters and this WWZMDiB FT232RL FTDI Mini USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter did not work out of the box. I compared it directly to a HiLetgo module that worked and verified the pinout connections were correct even though this module has an odd pinout.
