Little Friends Savoy Gerbilarium Cage with Accessories, 58.5 x 38 x 47.5 cm

The perfect cage for my Russian dwarf hamster! This is like a mansion compared to the cage I was recommended to buy at the pet shop. I appreciate the fact it’s not made of a horrible bright colored plastic like all other cages seem to beIt’s very spacious and has enough room on the bottom floor for him to run around and burrow. It’s well made and easy to assemble. The glass bottom is ideal for quick clean up and stops the bedding from going everywhere.I would recommend to add an extra shelf into the lower levels so they can’t fall from a height (learned this the hard way - I made mine from cardboard). I also added some extra score marks to the ladders as they are quite hard for a dwarf to climb but are sturdy and well made. The accessories that come with the cage are fine for a small hamster, he loves the wheel but not bothered about the house.I was worried about reviews saying there were sharp edges inside that could injure your pet but I checked over every piece before assembling and it was all fine. Overall a very good cage and well worth the money!

This is such an amazing product. It’s easy to set up, and is great quality. It is sturdy and looks absolutely fantastic. Loads of space for hamsters, and lovely and deep at the bottom for them to burrow. I honestly am so glad I bought this cage. All the hamsters that have lived in it have really loved it, and lived long and happy lives - I’m sure this has contributed to that, because they have room to thrive. Best hamster cage ever, honestly!

We already had a size smaller of these but chunky mouse 🐁 was getting slightly too big for it so it was time for an upgrade. Same good quality of the old cage, only issue was that the little house/hide was broken on arrival, weirdly, as neither the packaging nor the glass base were damaged. Got partial refund for that so overall very happy and so is the mouse.The only thing I would change about the cage is the wooden platforms and ramps, as they soak in urine and require a good scrub every now and then, but being wood, you have to be careful not use too much water so not easy to keep clean. Plastic would be much more practical. Selling replacement ramps and shelves would also help.

When we looked this was one of the best cages and I would say it is a good size for my Syrian hamster (and it is not too big for a dwarf/ Robovoski. Just because they are smaller does not mean they should have smaller cages). The around seven inch glass base allows you to put the appropiate amount of bedding in (at least 6 inches in one area of the cage) and it means you can see her burrowing which is quite cute. I think the glass is nice and cool for her to lie on in the heat as well once she digs a hole right down to the bottom. BUT PLEASE - do not use the wheel or house. The wheel is much to small and we upgraded to a 20cm wheel and if she gets much bigger we may have to replace that one to a 26-30cm wheel. Maybe a mouse could use it but I’m more reviewing it for a hamster. And I have a friend who has the same cage and her hamster got stuck in the house and it just really isn’t safe. When putting the bedding in we took the bottom ramp out because it took up too much space but we made the bedding high at that part so she could climb onto it herself. She finds the other ramp a bit slippery anyway but she manages. Please be aware though that the platforms don’t count as floor space as hamsters are ground dwellers so they don’t make the cage much bigger. It doesn’t come with instructions but you should easily be able to figure out what goes where. And the bowl is bad too, it can easily be knocked over, it’s just cheap and plastic so I recommend using a ramakin or a small ceramic bowl and I scatter feed her mix most days anyway - the bowl is for her veg and protein. Overall this is a really good cage, just I don’t recommend using the accessories that come with it. Great enclosure!

The media could not be loaded. I love this cage mainly because of how perfect size it is for my hamster it arrived bigger than expected which is good, it is very sturdy and no where for medium sized creatures to escape!👌🏼

A lovely large home for a Syrian hamster. My hamster loves to climb and was not happy in his old cage, but was satisfied almost instantly he was in this cage. The set up was more tricky that I had previously encountered with a hamster cage, due to it's unusual design, however, only took about 20 minutes to get it set up. The cage was in perfect condition. The wheel that came with the cage was cracked, however, I didn't bother returning it to the seller because it is way too small for use anyway. My only worry was that the doors, especially the side one, didn't seem to shut as tight as I would have liked, as the hamster I own is very strong and heavy (more than I have ever encountered before, and I have had many!), I was worried he would accidentally shove it open in the night. I clipped two crocodile clips either side of the door just to ensure he couldn't open it, I was worried initially that the clips would be a nuisance to use, but I didn't find them a problem and it just reassures me he can't get out. He has climbed the side door hundreds of times with me sat there watching him without the clips and the door stayed secure, so I'm sure it's fine, but I'd rather not risk my hamster escaping!Lovely large cage, every hamster should be treated to this kind of luxury.

I was very happy when it came so easy to put together and looks so coolHappy that it’s not made of plastic and the glass enables a deep layer of bedding.The clips are not the most ideal movement wise as the do jiggle a little but once all the bedding and the levels and all of your hamsters bits are in it it’s more secure and your hamster CAN NOT lift it up otherwise you have a mutant hamster.Very pleased and so worth the money

Mooi verblijf. Door het glas kun je heenkijken en zien hoe de hamster gangen graaft.Accessoires die erbij zaten niet in gebruik. Deze vervangen door meer natuurlijke productenAdvies om deze grotere maat te nemen tov de kleinere. Het verblijf kan niet groot genoeg zijn!

Only came with two clips for attaching the cage part to the glass. Completely unstable and basically useless. The product seems nice but without clips it is worthless. Can find no info to contact the seller. Extremely disappointed as we waited a long time for it to arrive. Needs quality control. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Do not buy.

My gebril like it. Little hard to take him out and clean the cage. You have to lift away the whole metal part.

La gabbia è bellissima e bel fatta.Le dimensioni sono quelle riportate, il materiale in legno è buono e i bordi son ben livellati.Il montaggio è relativamente semplice: non ci sono molti pezzi, e gli scaffali si incastrano bene alle sbarre. Bisogna prendere un po’ di manualità.Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, avrei messo qualche apertura in più, vista la grandezza della gabbia. Ce ne sono due: una sopra e una laterale. Ma è comunque abbastanza comoda.I pezzi sono arrivati tutti in ottime condizioni, nessun pezzo rotto.La gabbia/terrario è stata acquistata per un Roborosvky (come si vede in foto) e sta da 10.La spedizione è arrivata molto prima del previsto!

Moin ihr Lieben,Wir haben uns vor kurzem einen neuen Hamster zugelegt und suchten nach einem passenden Käfig. Er sollte nicht zu klein sein und auch im Wohnzimmer gut aussehen. Da sind wir auf dieses Produkt gestoßen.Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und ohne Probleme. Zum Lieferumfang gehörten der Käfig, das Glasaquarium, die Ebenen und Treppen, ein Häusschen und Laufrrad. Das Häusschen und Laufrad haben wir nicht verwendet, sondern uns passendere Produkture zugelegt. (Soll aber jedem selbst überlassen sein)Der Zusammenbau war sehr einfach und es ist schön, wie man die Ebenen im Käfig einfach auf verschiedene Höhen einbauen kann. Besonders schön ist das Aquarium als Unterbau, da man dort den Hamster beim wühlen und Sandbaden auch vom Sofa aus wunderbar beobachten kann. Auch die Ebenen und die Treppen kommen bei unserem Hamster sehr gut an. Sie fühlt sich sichtlich wohl. Auch die Größe ist gut, sodass sie viel Platz zum rumlaufen und klettern hat.Wir können den Käfig wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden ihn immer wieder den Standart-Käfigen mit der Plastikwanne vorziehen-
