Works but not high quality
We have used the original IKEA manufactured LOVA leaves at work for the last 2 years to mitigate too bright lights (and the migraines / eyestrain it causes). When I found these on Amazon, after IKEA no longer offered these... I was thrilled - no more having to find them on ebay for 4 times the IKEA price)...... while these have all the same pieces, and look the same, the quality is not great. they work for what we need, but they aren't sewn well - and the one I just put together had clearly been miss sewn and then resewn, not particularly lovely with the lightweight nylon materials.

Works as intended
We have a bunch of the Ikea leafs in the office but the long pole version is no longer available. I bought this one to compare. It looks almost identical. Some people mentioned that the side pockets for the poles were sewn shut. I thought mine were too but after looking at it for a minute, I realized you have to play around with it to get it to fit in the open hole (not a deal breaker). The angle of leave is much higher too. The Ikea version has the leaf bend near at a 90 degree angle. This one bends more like 45 degrees. Some might like it better so that you don't hit your head on it when sitting down. I'll be buying more for the office now that I know it meets their needs.

Easy enough to put together & blocks AC
I needed this to keep the office A.C. from blowing directly one me when it kicked on (& making my lunch get cold extra fast). I didn't have the holes in the top of my cube to put it in & I wasn't about to ask to drill holes in the wall, but I was able to put the stem between the shelf & the soft cube wall. I then put it in a vase with some rocks to keep it in place. It's a little conspicuous, but it looks cute & gets the job done.

Works well, not super easy to assemble.
Works great as a cubicle shade. Assembly was a little difficult due to a couple of internal flaps of material that had a tendency to get caught on the poles. After reading some of the other reviews, there were moments when I thought the pockets had been sewn closed! But I was able to back it out and get it to work correctly eventually so I suspect that the other reviews saying it was sewn closed we're incorrect. Just needs a lot of finagling.I'm very happy with the final product.

Crossbar pockets sewn short at ends
This would be excellent, except that the pockets for the two-piece rods have an extra seam across them 2-3" from the end of the pocket that the pole needs to reach. Easy fix if you own a seam ripper, just take out those four stitches or so at the ends of those pockets (all the others were fine) but by the time I realized it was a design flaw and I wasn't just doing it wrong I had managed to tear a bit of the pocket-opening seam and a small hole through the green nylon surface of the leaf trying to pry the first crossbar into the pocket.Any way to get a replacement of just the cloth canopy part? :POtherwise, still functions well as a replacement for the long stem IKEA LOVA.

Good shade
I am using this leaf to block harsh light at my desk. It works really well. The only thing is it is kinda heavy, so you need something heavy if you're gonna try to "plant" it in a carafe or can or something.

Office lighting issue solved!
This worked great for my light problem in the office. Quality is great and they were easy to set up. I just have the stems shoved between the desk and the cubicle wall. I was worried that people would complain about them but so far they are a hit!
