Like many fitted kitchens mine has in cupboard bin, it's a great handy little thing, unfortunately however hard we all try we don't always manage to get the rubbish in to the bin! So the bin cupboard is constantly being wiped down or cleaned out, over time the surface has discoloured & had started to wear away - I looked at replacing the cupboard but the blanching of my husbands face when this was suggested to him indicated that this may not be as easy as it seemed to me! So I decided to go old school with some sticky backed plastic - it really worked a treat - cupboard looks pristine & hubby didn't have to get the tools out. It was easy to fit, just needed a little care and attention to prevent air bubbles - I chose the matt option & was concerned at first as it looks a little creamy in colour but once inside the cupboard the colour difference was minimal,almost un-noticeable. In fact I think the gloss white may have stood out more. I'm very happy with the finished job & I still have enough left for a repeat if required, but as it's only been done for a few weeks I can't really tell how well it'll last however it hasn't immediately started to peel away which is always a good sign!

bought this as i wanted to cover a pine fire surround and hearth that i didn't feel like painting. good adhesion but with enough give to remove and replace if required. nice smooth finish which was what i wanted.

I recently installed a dishwasher in our new kitchen. To enable me to do this I had to drill some holes in our brand new kitchen cabinets for the pipes to go through. Unfortunately, I hadn't realised there already were holes there already. So, subsequently I had to think of something before my wife realised.A quick Amazon search brought the d-c-fix sticky back plastic to my attention so I ordered some and covered the holes and then placed some pans in the way, so a cursory glance in the cabinets and all looks fine. You see, I'm not stupid. Well, I suppose I am, but this sticky back plastic helped me out of a fix. I'll just steel myself for the wrath when my wife eventually spots my mistake!

It is easy enough to use but not very good quality, if you try to smooth it too much it causes a rip. Once it is on, it is very good and looks super smooth. It’s a matter of how good you are at applying it. My first one arrived in a bad condition but I was sent a free one again so that is fine .

Super Colour ( Matt white) , very good , perfect , if l need it l will definitely buy again.

My cat loves her water fountain she gets the right hump if I have to turn it off !!
