Perfect for outdoor pool locker (not waterproof)
I don't like regular rotating combo locks, especially where they blend in at the gym or pool. This combo lock stands out, is easy to use with wet hands, and while metal, the knobs don't get hot in the sun. This is not advertised as waterproof, however, I have not had any problems with using it as my weekly outdoor pool locker lock.To set the combo is a little confusing, but after setting it, it makes total sense. This lock sits at the bottom of my backpack, and has taken some hits as I tend to throw my backpack around, no chips or damage so far after two months of weekly use.

Clunky but helpful
It's clunky. This is a heavy lock with huge, toothed spinning rings; it's a bit cumbersome to use. But it's incredibly helpful being able to choose a number that's easy for me to remember! The numbered rings are plastic and overall it's probably not the sturdiest lock in the world, but it's fine for the gym.

Great for Locker
We have a bunch of this for our program Tab-in/Tag-out at work so I bought this for my gym locker. Easy to set and easy to see the number. Sure, it is not an ultra-tough, high-security lock like the other style, but it works to prevent thief of opportunities.😀 I also use this to lock my gate at home. Seriously, it will not stop the intruder from cutting the lock with a bolt cutter, but my 44-magnum will. 😫

Fell apart several times when unlocking it. Could not get the lock to engage. Not a good product.
I bought this lock for my work locker at a lock hospital. I an a RN and keep an expensive cardiology stethoscope and other high quality gear for my job in the locker. I wanted an easy to read and dial lock because my eyesight is not that great. I picked this lock because the dial is large and easy to read and the compact design seemed to work with my locker, which is small and hard to reach.Setting the combination was straightforward but strange since you have to separate half of the lock from the body, dial in your code and then put it back together again. I thought the design was ingenious at first, but quickly saw it as a deeply flawed design. Several times after unlocking it at work the lock just fell apart into two pieces. The last time this happened I put it back together but it would not engage and kept falling apart so I just threw it out.The lock is fairly expensive for its size and so I essentially paid for an expensive piece of solid metal trash. Bums me out because it fit well on my locker and the combination was easy to read and to dial. The design was great in theory but is fundamentally flawed. I would not recommend this lock. Go with something else.

Listen :These are not high security padlocks.NO PADLOCKS ARE HIGH SECURITY . NONE . ZERO . ZILCH . NADA .A Cordless cutting grinder can cut any padlock in 30 seconds or less , 10 seconds.Like a wise crazy guy told me and he wasnt so crazy after all - KEYS AND LOCKS WERE MADE TO KEEP HONEST PEOPLE HONEST .THESE ARE GREAT PADLOCKS .Big numbers.Very easy to set / reset again diffefent combos , takes 30 seconds .Show me a $99 padlock and Ill show you a .50 cent cutting blade and a cordless grinded .Great padlock.I would prefer 1 color choice ( black , brown ) skip the random color delivery .But for the price and great lock - Ill stfu.

A Solid Choice for a Combination Padlock: My Experience with the Master Lock 1523D
If you're in need of a combination padlock to secure your belongings, the Master Lock 1523D is a solid choice that won't break the bank. Here's my experience with this product. One of the best features of the 1523D is the ability to set your own combination, which is a major advantage over traditional keyed locks. This allows you to create a combination that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess or crack.Additionally, the lock feels sturdy and well-made, and I appreciated the small size that made it easy to carry around in my bag or pocket. I also liked the fact that the color of the lock may vary, as it added a bit of personality to an otherwise mundane product. However, there were a few downsides to the 1523D. For one, the small size of the lock means that it may not be suitable for securing larger items or objects. Additionally, the lock mechanism can be a bit finicky at times, and it may take a bit of trial and error to get the combination set correctly.Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and reliable combination padlock, the Master Lock 1523D is definitely worth considering. While it may not be the most heavy-duty or high-tech lock on the market, it gets the job done and provides a good level of security for your belongings.
