A Life Improvement!
I upgraded our Sonos Arc system, (which had consisted of Arc, Sub, and a pair of Sonos Ones), to Arc, Sub and a pair of Era 300s. Once I got everything set up perfectly the sound is nothing short of otherworldly! Even on a low volume setting the sound just seems to come out of the atmosphere. That said, the set up was not as straightforward as one might expect. The directions are not easy to find for every situation. First you need to decide whether you want to set it up ultimately as a surround system, or put the emphasis on stereo music. Though you can switch back and forth, it’s somewhat complicated to do so. I tried it out both ways and settled for the surround mode and the music is still spectacular. I did ultimately call the Sonos help line to help me set things up so that my existing remote controls worked with the system rather than just the Sonos app. I got through to a rep in less than 5 minutes and he patiently walked me through the needed changes. One last complication I ran into after the helpline call: I performed the Sonos Trueplay procedure repeatedly and it kept saying something went wrong and to try again.Get this: I wear hearing aids and they were interfering with the Bluetooth setup. I turned off both my hearing aids and the Bluetooth on my iPad and Trueplay immediately did its thing. Then I turned my hearing aids and iPad back on, and everything worked as it should. From classical, to rock,to jazz, to Bluegrass the music is sensational! So, now the music is sensational, the TV surround is fantastic, and speech is more clear than it has ever been. We invested a fair amount of dough, but this now truly is a case of quality isn’t expensive, it’s priceless, as even my wife, who thought I was nuts to spend this much ,is absolutely thrilled with the end result. If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy, and Mama’s happy.

Surround Sound On Steroids!!!!
Sound is on a different level! Completed my home theater setup and as surround speakers I don’t know if it could get any better. Sound feels like it’s coming from all over the room!!!

Really amazing
After a long search and reviews of the speakers i choose to buy sonos era 300 for my home. It plays really beautiful. For a single corner its too smooth. It feels a home with music and music sounds like really a party or pub music. I am indeed happy with my decision.

Nothing but trouble - Alexa integration is a joke - Don't buy for voice use
Updating review after 6 months: One day Alexa just stopped working on this device. Followed all troubleshooting steps but no good. Do not recommend buying this for use with Alexa - the integration is spotty at best, and horribly frustrating and non-functional at worst.---------------------Sound is great, but frustrating to setup and use with Alexa. Prescribed setup steps to connect to network did not work over and over again until one iteration, connection just worked - no idea how or why, internet searches and Sonos site did not help.Once it was up and running, experience with Alexa is very frustrating - half the time the device does not respond to “Alexa” no matter how loudly you talk or close to it you stand. Other times, when asked to play music or radio from a streaming service, the audio plays in a different device in the house.Overall experience using Alexa has become much much worse in our household. Amazon and Sonos should be ashamed of putting this on the market. Will not buy again.

Great Sound
I have in ceiling speakers which I never liked—it always sounded like it was under water. Instead of buying 3 pairs of new ceiling speakers (which could f*** up your ceiling and aren’t as good as bookcase speakers) I decided to go with the Sonos Era 300. Two speakers have replaced 3 pairs. I also checked out the Apple HomePod and Mini but the Sonos speakers had great sound quality reviews and lots of flexibility. BTW, I thought the Apple HomePod Mini sounded fuzzy, like it was under water.I can use Apple Airplay to easily play anything that’s on my iPhone or iPad, or use the Sonos app to play radio or steaming platforms like Amazon Music and Sirius. I’m also really enjoying the “Hey Sonos” verbal commands, though Siri is quite confused and thinks I’m speaking to her. I listen to music a lot more now because it is so easy and sounds great. I highly recommend Sonos.

Sound is amazing. App is frustrating.
My first Sonos experience. The good: Packaging was really nice, well done, easy to access and the overall setup and install was very easy and intuitive. Pairing the two in a speaker group was easy as well and the sound is incredible. Rich, deep, and immersive. It feels like my entire living room, vaulted ceilings and all, is a studio space with sound that I think would be hard to beat at this price point. I just smile every time I turn them on. Support for Apple AirPlay is a big, big plus. The frustrating: The app. It's not intuitive to use on a daily basis, controls don't make sense, but most of that I would overlook if the app just worked consistently. I have app crashes on my iOS device, frequently, and frustration with sound control and synching the playback with my Move 2 which I just recently purchased from Sonos as well. I'm honestly shocked at how poor the app is give the quality of the speakers. The middle of the road stuff: The voice integration works well enough. I find that many of my voice commands simply are not understood but it might be my prompting and how I'm trying to interact. It's not as intuitive as Alexa devices or Siri, but for the basics it works well enough. On the fence regarding expanding my Sonos footprint at home. I really want to, the sound is amazing, but the app really, really needs some help.

Fantastic sound!
I know they are a little on the expensive side, but I feel well worth it. I connected two to my Sonos Arc Ultra and could no believe the sound. Listening to music they just fills the entire room. Watch a movie with Dolby Atoms and you will have things coming at you from every direction, top, bottom, right, left and everything in between. Just get them. They are great and you know you want too!!
