To wash the ApneaShield vest, it's recommended to remove the sensation ball first. You can either hand wash it with mild soap or put it in a small netted laundry bag (white mesh with zipper) and wash it in the washing machine along with your clothes. For the cork-made sensation ball, it's best to wipe it down with a damp cloth using water and let it air dry completely before using it again. If desired, you can add a few drops of lavender or tea tree essential oil after it has dried. Avoid using soap or putting it in a washing machine.

Q: Could you move this to the front to stop you from rolling over to your stomach?

Yeah I think you could. Order it and try it. It's perhaps not going to be as effective that way, wearing it on the front makes it pretty uncomfortable if you roll over flat on your stomach but you might potentially sleep through it depending on positioning, pillows, etc. However when using it on your back, it's nearly impossible to wind up completely on your back due to the way your spine curves and the amount of pain you'd be in if you made it on your back.

Q: For anyone who purchased this - did yours smell strongly of laundry detergent? Mine just arrived and it is so strongly scented.

Mine had no smell at all, strong or otherwise.

Q: Did anyone have a problem with the smell? My vest has a strong chemical-like odor.

Mine absolutely had the same issue - it smelled like really strong chemical detergent. I was concerned that even washing it, the smell wouldn’t come out so it was sadly returned.

Great Product!
