I'm very pale with freckles. This was so great and gave me a great tone. I have alpha gal syndrome, so I was looking for vegan tan lotion. This was recommended to me, and I love it. It still gets that tanning smell but not as strong as some. It has a very pleasant smell after first applying. This stuff works faster in my opinion. I was pretty shocked how fast. I did have some orange on my hands and feet, but it was minimal. My picture shows the nice tone it gave my legs and where I missed on my feet. I touched up the day I went to the beach, and by the afternoon there, those spots were fixed! The next day I slept on very white sheets while on vacation, and was worried I'd have to pay for the sheets if they got stained. Nothing came off thank goodness. This is my favorite tanning lotion now.

This lotion does as it says and adds a bit of color. I'm pretty pale and freckled, and the medium to tan shade works well for me. As with any self tanner, you'll want to be careful around knees and elbows and make sure to exfoliate as needed. I was worried this lotion would have the typical self tanner smell, but it has a pleasant coconut smell that is pretty light and fades well.My only gripe is that I wish the consistency was slightly thicker, like regular lotion. It's slightly runny, so just be mindful of that when squeezing from the bottle. Otherwise, it's a great lotion and gives you a nice bit of color. No orange or fake tones, either.

I am a very pale person with very sensitive skin. I got the "Fair to Medium" lotion, applied some all over in the evening, and let's just say I fell asleep looking like Kirsten Dunst, woke up looking like Eva Longoria ;-) But in all seriousness, I was surprised by how quickly the tan started to develop. The next day I could wear shorts without feeling like I was walking around with pasty-white legs. It definitely gives you a natural, glowing tan!After the second application, I decided to rinse off the lotion after about 6 hours because the tan was developing a bit too quickly, and I wanted to take it slow to get the right shade. One area on my arm was streaky, but I think it's because I was impatient and didn't spend enough time blending in the lotion. I'd highly recommend this product! No complaints about the scent. It's got a very faint tanning lotion smell, but not nearly as bad as the stuff we used in the early 2000's. (Not as strong as Jergens.)

I’ve used this 3 days in a row and so far my color is perfect! Not orange at all, didn’t stain my hands or cause streaking. Very happy with the ability to build the coverage you want. Also great on sensitive skin, smells good too!

This self-tanner is a game-changer. Really. First of all, no self-tanner smell, you know the smell- yuck. Not this one. Just a light, fresh scent that's barely there and disappears lickety-split! I apply this right after I towel off after showering. It moisturizes and dries in no time so you can get dressed without waiting for something that feels yucky!! By later than day I can start to see a difference. I'm so pale I'm practically see-through so I usually use this on Friday morning so by the weekend I have some color to my legs. I use it Saturday and Sunday mornings, too, then just moisturize my legs as usual Monday thru Thursday. The color lasts and it gets refreshed for the weekend!This is a huge tube, too. I'm not sure what the differences are between the other colored tubes but this one is a hands-down winner. My last tube lasted me 3 summers (I don't really care over the winter because I wear long pants through the winter!) and this year just wasn't cutting it so when it was marked down for Prime Day, I jumped on it!!You should, too!!

This is by far the BEST self tanner I’ve ever used. I haven’t used several different brands/types and this one knocks them all out of the park. However, prep is VERY IMPORTANT. I always exfoliate using a body scrub and then put regular moisturizer on dry area (knees, elbows, inside of elbows, ankles, wrists) before applying. This ensures your skin is smooth and ready to have a streak-free tan. Using this method, I never have streaks or patches and it always looks great. I apply 2-4 times a week and exfoliate once a week. I’m generally a very pale person so the fair to medium bottle doesn’t make me super super dark but it gets the job done to make me not pasty during the summer. 10/10 RECOMMEND! I love this gradual tanning lotion. Looks great and the smell isn’t that bad. But DO NOT use it everyday! If you do you’ll be orange.

Unlike so many other products, the scent is very subtle, and disappears. No problem with rub-off.
