I’m wearing it everywhere I go, it’s doing the job so far

At first I took this for glass. It arrived with a waxy, amorphous appearance and was readily scratched by a hardened steel blade. I decided to take it to my lapidary machine and clean a face up. It is too hard to be scratched by a quartz specimen.This appears to be real beryl in a cabochon grade but coated in something like a hard resin.

The crystal quartz is pretty big it fits in my hand fine. I would say it’s worth it!! But unfortunately the amethyst was not like the picture at all, it is a beautiful deep purple color but not as clear as it looks in the photo.

This stuff rocks!
