A cheap way to brighten up old radiators
If you have a choice like I did, do you buy a new radiator, or make the best of what you've got already? I chose the latter, and I've been really pleased. The radiator was off the wall whilst plastering took place, and I'd say that made a big difference. Whilst this paint creates a lovely brilliant white finish, it also shows every single brush stroke and therefore you really have to keep just the right pressure and direction on your brush. I did two coats, mostly as the radiator was very yellowed (the coverage is good, but if the radiator is older, two coats will likely be required), but also because my first coat wasn't the neatest and this paint isn't very forgiving! It has a light smell to it, nothing a regular hammerite user won't be accustomed to, but I'd always recommend well ventilating the room, or taking the radiator outside like I did (I know that's not always possible or required!)Overall, good product, nice finish, but be patient as it requires concentration and a steady hand :)

Small tin but did every radiator in house no problem
Just bought a house and everything needs doing to it even the radiators are tobacco yellow. This is a good paint tough, briilliant white does not go yellow in use and the odour isn't overpowering unlike some paints smells. The tin is tiny so was worried it would not go very far and I would end up paying for more but very suprisingly it goes a long long way. It has done every radiator in the house with a little to spare for touch ups. Not too expensive and worked a dream so top marks from me.

Great paint, very strong odour.
Great value for money, easy to use, completely revamped my yellowing rads but, please make sure you have ventilation while painting, there is a very strong odour with this paint, much stronger than traditional gloss.

Covers in one coat
Very happy with this product and the price as well.Wasn’t expecting to get away with one coat as my radiators were quite discoloured but they only needed the one so the tin worked out to be quite economical as after 4 radiators I’ve still got half the tin left. The shine from the gloss white makes them look like new.Only downside was the smell even though I had all doors and windows open while painting but the old trick of putting raw onions next to them worked a treat so all was good.Highly recommended.

Good paint.
Used on an old radiator. Which was full of rustSanded it down . Primed it. One coatThen used the radiator paint. One coat. Used sparely. Not too much paint on the brush. Results were very good. Does smell. But just open the doors. All good

Makes my radiator look new
Wow, blown away by the quality, used it for 1 heater i still have some left probably enough for 2/3 more! Drys fairly quickly so you can layer up, colour itself is beautiful, not fully white as the paint oxidises, its a neutral cream colour perfect for that minimalist look, paint looks expensive but the price isnt, great value for money thank you seller!

VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE RESULTS
Bought the paint in the tin rather than the aerosol. Was a bit worried about using the paint as didn't want my radiators to look like they had been 'painted'. Can say I have been extremely impressed. The paint is quite thin, but that is what makes the radiator look like new although still easy to work with. Wiped the radiators down before applying the paint. Didn't think radiators were bad to start with until I started painting and difference became obvious. Applied two coats to radiators whilst still attached to the wall using a small brush. Very happy with the results.

Overall its ok but I wouldn't recommend it
Purchased this paint to freshen up all the radiators. The paint is easy to use, just make sure you don't put too much on the brush otherwise it will start dripping. I was very happy with the colour and the finish once I have finished painting it. Left it to dry for a couple of days before turning on the heating. However, it hasn't even been a month and the radiators have now gone more cream colour than white. Also, paint on one of the radiators started to chip away. Safe to say, I won't be using it again
