Revised review - they made it right. The sensor only worked for 5 months and after I contacted them, they made it right. Great warranty.

I purchased the driveway alarm and had some difficulty setting it up originally but was able to have it alarm about 500 feet from the house even through some trees. It worked for about 5 months and I figured it needed new batteries even though the base unit didn’t show it. I changed the batteries a few times and used different settings within the unit. When I couldn’t get any reaction, I wrote to the company. A person there worked with me trying several different changes to try to get it to work. Finally, they decided my unit was defunct and sent me a new one via Amazon the same day. They upgraded the unit and it works great. I am very satisfied with the unit and the company.

Had this product out in the driveway for about 2 months. Worked great and is easy to configure. With the recent cold snap I had to change the batteries. When I changed the batteries and reinstalled it, it stopped working correctly. If I put it on the low setting, it doesn't detect anything and if I put it on the high setting it just continually activates. Not sure what is wrong.Seems solid and weatherproof, but is just malfunctioning now.Update, a few weeks later and no response from company and it still doesnt work.

Finally received a set of motion detectors. This is a set, one works, the other does not want to synch or connect to the base station. I've followed the directions multiple times, replaced all the batteries and everything I can think of. It's a NO GO. So, my set is now a set of one. While pounding a steak into the ground with the working detector screwed to the stake (you really can't mount the detector after the fact) the head of the mount broke. It's made of cheap plastic. No worries, I replaced the back with the one that does not work. Now that I have one functioning detector in place, it seems to work fine.... 2 stars for the effort. Finally, the advertisement uses the term 'Solar' to build an expectation of a solar powered device. This is not the case, do not be fooled by the advertising. Perhaps looking elsewhere before purchasing this set is a good idea.

We had a chamberlain alarm before, couldn’t get another like it. I liked the sound on that one better that this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Same company with same base unit but the new base station won't link with current solar alarms. The solar base I bought last year won't connect to the newer alarms. I'm not really happy with this last purchase.After several attempts I was able to get this new base to link with earlier purchase sensors. I was finally able to get the new nonsolar sensors to link with other base station. After a week of testing out the new sensors I found they work well up to 450 ft. Not so well beyond that with a straight driveway and minimal obstructions.

Not sure why we waited so long to get a driveway alarm, but glad we did. It's essentially a doorbell that rings whenever anyone comes in the driveway.We got 2 sets -- 2 base stations and 4 detectors. This allows us to place the base stations in different parts of the house so we can hear it anywhere. With 4 detectors we place one on the driveway, one on the front door, one on the back door and one on the barn. We know whenever anyone is on the threshold of all entrances.These were very easy to install and activate. They seem very sturdy. 2 of them are very exposed and 2 of them are protected by overhangs. We'll see how they hold up after the winter.
